They updated us when the pups appetites were low, which I really appreciated. Both of our dogs tend to be anxious without us because they aren’t used to used to being alone, so it was also a big plus that they work from home. In the past we have had to send our pups to kennels because we don’t have friends or family near by who can watch them. They would be locked in a kennel all day and we would literally have to pay extra for belly rubs or time out of the kennel. I usually feel uneasy the whole trip but not this time. I sort of hate to so highly recommend Rachel and Jeff in case they get too booked up to watch Ellie again, but it’s a risk I’m willing to take. About: I have had three dogs, myself and personally trained two of them! Our young growing family will give your pup plenty of attention and love! Your pup must be good with kids and animals as we have two young boys who absolutely love animals and a miniature Australian Shepherd, who will play well with any dog! There are also two barn cats on the property who keep to themselves for the most part. I will send update pictures daily, so you can be assured that your pup is doing great. We can’t wait to host your furry friend! I am a stay at home mom so I can be extremely flexible with schedule and be available for your pet most of the time and attend to the needs of your specific pet. I will be sure to feed your pet as often as they are used to at home and with the food you provide. I spend lots of time outside with the kids so you can also be assured that your pet will be given plenty of outside time! I am happy to leave pets inside if they prefer that as well. With our Australian Shepherd exercise will also not be a concern as he is very playful but he also will leave animals alone if they don’t want to play!

“I have used Mareth to watch my dog(s) in various capacities since moving into my home in 2020. Mareth and I have trained each other's dogs for a while so I was super excited when she switched over to dog walking and pet sits! When I had a standard poodle living with me for 6 months who had very little exposure to life and had big feelings about it, she took him on training field trips and was instrumental about having him develop positive feelings about the world around him when I was at the office and could not address it daily. When I had to travel for work or to competitions with my other dog, she watched him on many overnights and would give me constant updates with pictures and videos. As a dog trainer, his stays also got interlaced with lots of enrichment and training with other dogs so I picked up a very happy and content dog who did not want to leave her house! She had other dog visits and walkers but I would come home to a stressed dog and knew she needed a better outlet. When I found out Mareth started walking dogs, it was a no brainer to make the switch. Zuri gets an amazing nice long sniff walk and exercise with Mareth whenever I'm in the office. I get great updates via pictures and videos along with a GPS map of her walk. I come home to a very happy dog who is happy to see me but not stressed. I know that when I get a puppy I can have peace of mind knowing I have Mareth to help me to get the puppy started in life with good exposure through proper training. About: I have taken care of many dogs and cats throughout my experience. Of mostly all ages and even multiple at a time. The most cats i have ever had is 4 at once! I am currently a college student so spending the night at peoples home would not be an issue. Not crazy available on weekends but can definitely ask! The most classes i have are 3 at once so 3 hour break from being able to come over. I make sure to feed my pets breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Let them out as much as they express they need to and give them plenty of affection, play time, and walks. Not one client who I have sat for or walked their dog has gave me any criticism. About: i have taken care of dogs for at least 12 years now and we used to foster dogs so i constantly would take care of them, I have 1 dog named enzo and at my grandparents I have 2 pits and a new husky puppy and he’s a LOT to take care of but i always do( i’ve babysat some of my friends dogs before) I’m currently working part time at roosters as a hostess, and i typically get scheduled everyday except sundays but they are very lenient with schedules so i can always work around the time you need me for well i will definitely always want to play with them or if not playing with them just been snuggling up with them but im always willing to stay outside with them and play for however long until they get bored, ill match they’re energy always

I’ve even had my neighbors let me watch their pets :) I’m currently out of school so my schedule is very open. Even once school is back open I’m still pretty free and reliable and communicative. “We’ve never left our dog with anyone outside the family, but I’m pretty convinced that Ellie felt like Rachel and Jeff WERE family after a week there. There are no words for how grateful we are for their excellent care! She was happy, comfortable, and loved on (I know from the pictures!), and I’m not sure she actually wanted to come back home! I sort of hate to so highly recommend Rachel and Jeff in case they get too booked up to watch Ellie again, but it’s a risk I’m willing to take. We drove more than an hour to them, and after this experience, I’d have driven six. They were wonderful with Ellie but even more lovely as people.
