“This is the first house sitting experience with Carolyne and I believe it went well! She was great at responding to my questions and sent me daily updates as requested. Carolyne seems very easy going and easy to work with and Moosie loved her and her kids! I would not hesitate to hire her again!”
“Emily was amazing with our two dogs, Crosby and Ash. She was incredibly responsive and communicative throughout the entire stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. Emily clearly showed a lot of empathy and care for our dogs, and it was obvious they felt comfortable and happy with her. We also felt completely at ease having her in our home. We’d absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable, and kind sitter.”

“This was the first time I used a house sitter. I was a little leery, but Anabelle was a timely communicator as we worked through some initial bumps. She was respectful of my requests and our pup seemed to enjoy spending time with her. I would use her again.”
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 7. Coming from somewhat of a farm life. I have always had a dog. Used to work with dogs that just came into a shelter that is no longer there I love to work with dogs, walk and dog sit. No dog is to small or to big. Love comes in all Sizes! I am available during the week and on weekends. Will work around your schedule if need be. Will come to you so they feel secure in their own home I have a fenced in yard & 3 friendly dogs that are Big Babies. I prefer to do at your home so dogs are in their comfort zone and do not get stressed out

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 14 years old and have always had a genuine love for pets. Over the years, I’ve helped care for a variety of animals, including cats, ferrets, and dogs through pet sitting and house sitting for neighbors and family friends. I also have a 9 year old Border Collie/Lab mix of my own, who I’ve cared for and grown up with. Pet care is something I do on the side because I truly enjoy being around animals and building bonds with them. I’m dependable, attentive, and committed to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet sitting and walks. Since this is something I do because I genuinely love animals, I’m open and adaptable to different pet care needs and always happy to help however I can! I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for by being patient and understanding with their individual personalities and needs. With my own dog and other pets I’ve cared for, I’ve learned that building trust takes time, so I never force interaction. I let pets come to me at their own pace so they can feel comfortable and secure in their environment. Creating a calm, loving, and stress free atmosphere is always my priority.
“Ariel did an awesome job caring for our dogs while we attended a wedding. We drove from Wisconsin and she did a meet and greet on Friday which was wonderful as one of our dogs can be a bit anxious around strangers. She was very patient and got him to warm up to her!! She was great at sending me pictures and updates so I knew the dogs were OK. I would highly recommend Ariel!!”
“Arianna was great with our two boys and was super helpful in setting up the house sitting appointment. She sent plenty of updates and pictures of our boys during the trip and kept everything under control around the house. Even our normally standoffish schnauzer warmed up to her by the end of her time! Would definitely recommend Arianna for your pet sitting or any other pet help needs.”

About: More than capable of dog sitting and dog walking! I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I grew up with a massive 130lb black lab, a Yorkie and a cat. I love animals of all shapes, sizes and breeds, and consider myself very experienced with caring and loving them! I can be flexible with my schedule and will attend to the needs of the pet. My first priority is the pet and how I can help them feel most at peace. I care for pets in my clients home by trying to go off of the animals energy. For example, if they are full of energy I would take them for a walk, if they seem tired/anxious I would give some pets and rubs.

About: I currently work at a Veterinary Hospital as a Veterinary Technician Assistant. This has been my position for the last three years and I am looking to continue my education! Due to this position I am able to give different forms of medications, take care of sick, senior or more care required pets! I am very adamant to make any kind of treatments/care as fear free as possible! I’ve also had my fair share of dogs growing up, big and small. I loved training my childhood German Shepherd Harper and my families current aussiedoodle Griffin. I also frequently would pet sit for family and friends in the past! I currently work full time at a vet clinic and have kitties at home that require care and medications for chronic issues. One of my cats Chyna has Irritable Bowl Disease that is being managed and my other cat Sally has behavioral Pica (Tendency to eat inedible things) that I manage well! I am typically not working Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and half days on Monday and Saturdays. I can be flexible with my schedule but Wednesdays and Fridays I typically work 10 hour shifts! On Wednesdays and Fridays I should be available after 6pm, especially if I am staying at a location for in-home care. I am willing to accommodate whatever makes owners feel most comfortable for care. I appreciate any tips for care and have no problem giving your kiddos plenty of attention💕
“This was my first time leaving my two dogs with someone other than family. Kailyn did an amazing job with my two dogs who have a lot of behavioral issues that require special considerations (feeding and walking separately, medications, etc). She sent me pics and videos of the dogs too. Highly recommend!”

About: I've taken care of pet dogs and cats since I was 12. I've also helped some of my neighbors and relatives with their pets while theywere away. Though I'm currently working full time I can take care of anyone's pets, and promptly intimate the owners in advance about my absence or when I would be unavailable. I have roommates so I can do house sitting only in the client's place, and I will do my best with all.my experience to keep their pet happy and comfortable.
About: I've been caring for animals my entire life and genuinely enjoy spending time with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm and reliable companion while you're away, I strive to provide attentive, loving care tailored to their individual needs. I work from home so I can prioritize your pets needs around the clock. My schedule can work seamlessly with puppies or small dogs that need frequent bathroom breaks. At home, I care for my own dog like family. I have a Frenchie who I absolutely adore, and her daily routine includes regular walks, playtime, and visits to the park so she can stay active and social. She’s very friendly, gentle, and loves being around other dogs, so she’s a great example of the calm, positive environment I aim to provide for any pets in my care
“Carrie was absolutely awesome!! She made sure our boys were taken care with love and compassion. We couldn't be happier and will be contacting her in the near future to stay again”

“Ashely was incredible!!! She gave great updates and was very easy to communicate with. My dog loved her! She also took fantastic care of my apartment while I was gone. I will for sure be booking with Ashley again! Thanks for everything Ashley!!!”

“Christine is great! One of my pups is very shy with strangers and typically hides and goes on hunger strikes when someone new comes to feed him. She really took the time to win him over. It's great to know I have someone rely on to what my pups when I'm out of town. She took great care of them and I could tell she genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I will certainly be using her services in the future!”

“I am so grateful to Sarah for caring for my pack on the second 3 day block that I had been unable to locate a sitter. I wholeheartedly appreciated that she let me know of messes the middle sitter left and was willing to clean it all up! <3. One less thing I had to worry about upon return.”

FAQs for House Sitting - Radnor
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,345 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Radnor. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Radnor walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Radnor maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Radnor choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Radnor. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
