About: With being surrounded by family and friends who are vet techs & pet clinic staff, I have had experience with dogs & cats for a very long time. I absolutely adore animals and have always wanted to make it my job to go above and beyond and give all the love to fur babies so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. This is professionally my third year. With being an active girl, I love to go on walks, hike, go for drives & listen to music. Pet sitting is very compatible with my personality and routine. When I visit a home or stay with a pet, I make sure to follow every instruction to keep the dog, or cat, in the same routine so the animal is as comfortable as possible. It is important to me to not disrupt the normal for an animal and keep them feeling loved and safe. ♥️

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and treat every pet like my own. My first dog, Jack (a Bichon-Poodle), joined our family when I was six. Then came Lilly, a 60-pound mutt I helped train from a puppy. Later, I cared for a rescued kitten named Chef, who we bottle-fed from two days old. I lived with him for two years in Florida. While living in Europe, I was the primary caregiver for Foksi, a 35-pound rescue dog from Russia, for three years between Belgium and Italy. She was already house-trained and knew basic commands, but I continued her training from about a year old and handled all her daily care. If your dog is used to certain commands, just let me know — I’m happy to keep up their routine and reinforce training during walks or visits. I’m active, reliable, and love getting outside for long walks or playtime. I work part-time and have a flexible schedule, so your pet will get focused attention. Whether it’s puppy energy or senior care, I’m comfortable handling it and will make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for. I recently relocated back to the U.S. and am currently building my dog care business while searching for full-time remote work. In the meantime, I have open availability and can be flexible to meet your needs. As I grow my client base, I’ll work toward a consistent schedule—but for now, I’m new to the local market and fully available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting. I provide care only at the client’s home or during walks. I’ll follow any rules or routines you have in place to make sure your pet is comfortable, safe, and relaxed.

“Heidii was WONDERFUL to work with. She came and met us and our pup ahead of time and made us so comfortable. Look forward to working with her again!”

I have plenty of room on my profile my dog to walk around and do her thing. My cats are happy with sleeping eating and attention. They are low maintenance for sure. About: Hi, I’m Julianne. As a lifelong animal lover with more than 10 years of experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities, I know how important it is to ensure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved. Whether it's playful walks, cuddles, or sticking to their specific care routine, I’ll treat your pet like one of my own. Reliable and compassionate, I’m here to give you peace of mind while you’re away. Let’s make tails wag and purrs plentiful! I work part-time, which allows me the flexibility to provide overnight pet-sitting in your home whenever needed. For dog walking, I’m available on select weekdays and weekends. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. I ensure your pet’s environment remains familiar and stress-free by following their routine, providing plenty of attention, and respecting any specific care instructions you provide. I maintain a secure and clean space, keep a close eye on their behavior, and offer companionship to make them feel safe and loved in your absence. Trust is key, so I communicate regularly with updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you’re away.

“Toria has treated my Rex like one of her own. Was thrilled to find such a kind, caring and communicative person to care for Rex when my vacation schedule became too busy and complicated to include him. Toria was flexible With my changing plans, communicated clearly and was dependable. Could not ask for more.”

About: I grew up on a farm taking care of farm animals of all ages, sizes, and species. I now own 2 kitties and 2 horses while I am finishing my masters in marine resource management! Being an animal person is kinda my thing! I spent 6 years of my life shadowing, volunteering, and near the end, working in vet clinics. It wasn’t until I went out to sea for NOAA that I realized I wanted to go into environmental studies. For now I can’t own my own dog due to the lack of a yard at my apartment, but dog walking seems like a great compromise! Not to mention, I have been walking horses around my entire life, which are basically large, unpredictable dogs. Dog walking would be lovely for me since I am in the middle of writing my thesis. Taking a break throughout my day is much needed for my personal sanity and productivity! Plus, dogs AND walking, say less. Since I have two cats my place is not the best for dogs that aren’t kitty friendly, but if I feel comfortable with a dog I don’t mind bringing them over. I house sit for the gals at my barn now, plus I’ve house sat all throughout high school and undergrad. Following directions and being respectful are extremely important to me.

About: I am a nurse and am currently focusing on finishing my degree. I have always had a soft spot for dogs ever since I was a child. In the past, I exclusively cared for the pets of friends and family. I have recently joined Rover and am excited to turn that passion into reality. I have had my own dogs (3) for around 12 years and have cared for them in all aspects of life. I will treat your fur child as my own ❤️ I am a part time student so I will have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I have availability Monday - Thursday to accommodate most work schedules. Friday availability is limited but please ask. In short, my two dogs are my children; and I will treat yours as such. I would prefer to walk your dogs in your neighborhood so it is comfortable in familiar surroundings. However, I do drive a Jeep and live close to hiking trails that would be perfect for an on-leash walk. Of course that would be up to your comfort level. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!

“Anna was fantastic with our 2 dogs. She's very reliable, provides excellent notes and pictures, and really put my mind at ease! We'd love to have her back caring for our pets!”

But my schedule can be flexible. I have a fenced in yard and big area to run around and play. Do not mind crating if needed and what you’re comfortable with for your dog.

About: Hi there, I’m Veronica! I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and am now hoping to take care of your fur babies! I currently have a medium sized dog and a large sized dog, but have experience with dogs ranging from extra small to extra large. I’m very active and love going for hikes, playing fetch, and running with your energetic pups! I also have experience with and love older dogs who have a harder time getting around. I’m also capable of caring for your reptiles, small animals, birds, fish, and backyard animals (I’ve had all at one point of another). When I’m in your home I play by your rules and will leave it as I found it. I can provide a reference from previous pets I’ve watched if you would like. I look forward to hearing from you! I currently am unemployed other than picking up small odd jobs and gigs on Rover. So looking after your pets and my pets are my top priorities! When I do a drop in visit in your home I’ll be doing exactly what you want me to do. Whether it’s giving exercise, love, or just refilling food and water. I look forward to doing what you need me to do to keep your pet happy while you’re away!

About: I have helped families take care of their pets (and kids!) for over 20 years! I just moved to Westerly with my husband, rescue pup, and sweet senior cat and we just had our first child. I enjoy helping families with their fur babies as I settle into being a stay at home mom! Depending on the baby’s schedule, sometimes my husband does the visits for me or we all go together with the baby in a carrier— let me know in advance if you have any issues. Being a mother is my full time job, so my schedule is very flexible! Feel free to inquire about a date that is marked unavailable. I take into consideration what each pet needs during my visits, whether that’s a long walk, a few rounds of fetch or just some cuddles.

About: I worked at a boarding, daycare and grooming facility where I learned many skills and ways of caring for dogs, cats and small animals too. I have two dogs of my own, and 5 reptiles I care for and feed daily! One pitbull, one chiweenie, 4 bearded dragons, 1 gecko I crate my dogs if leaving the house to ensure their safety, away from anything they could grab or chew. Reptiles are separated and healthy.

“Nick is a lover of all pets and animals. He is extremely caring with them and one of his biggest concerns is getting them outside for their play time to show how loved they are. Marc V.
“Marc is a huge animal guy. He has taken care of both of my cats as well as my 60-pound golden retriever puppy for an extended period of time and has done an excellent job doing so. My dog is definitely a little crazy and energetic, however Marc knows exactly how to handle him with little to no instructions from me. He was willing to take my dog on long walks as well as play with him indoors and outdoors to tire him out. Not only is he great with the dog, but he also understands how to interact with the cats by giving them the attention they want on their terms. Marc is a great dog walker and pet sitter whom I will always be willing to trust to look after my fur babies.”
