About: I have a full-time job at the university, but animals have been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Being a Rover dogwalker and sitter brings me nothing but joy. In our family, we have two golden retrievers, one german shepherd, and one Maine Coon mix cat. When I have someone watch my pets, I want them to feel loved and safe and that's the exact care I strive to provide for your family! I'm comfortable caring for rescues with additional needs. I've worked with dogs ranging from teacup breeds to giants. I have extensive experience with cats, including special needs care and bottle-feeding kittens. I've raised and worked with puppies, providing training that aligns with the pet parent's goals during our sessions. I can administer oral medication and always review veterinarian details so that in case of an emergency situation I can act quickly and effectively. Each pet is so unique, so I customize activities based on their needs and what you prefer. These activities might include backyard playtime, walks, playing with their favorite toys, and practicing commands. I always treat every session like a photo-shoot, trying to provide cute and candid photos. For check-ins and house-sitting I typically send 5+ pictures and I'll do my best to take photos that you'd want to frame! Thank you so much for considering me to care for your fur-family! I look forward to connecting with you and answering all of your questions! I will have weekends available as well as most mornings before 10AM. On weekends we take our dogs to the dog park, swimming, and other adventures. I love all animals like I love my own. By being patient, calm, and trusting the animals personal boundaries. We currently make time to take our dogs to the dog park multiple times a day.
9. Tracy M.
“Tracy was outstanding at taking care of our dog and two cats while we were away for a few days. She followed their routines, took our dog on multiple walks, and gave everyone lots of love. She also took great care of the house (even taking the trash out) so it was just how we left it. We came home to happy animals and no extra housework. We will definitely have Tracy back!”
10. London F.
“London has always loved animals and is incredibly responsible. She has taken care of our animals as well as our friends and family when they are out of town. She has a loving and caring nature, so you will feel comfortable leaving your pet(s) in her care.”
11. Hannah P.
“I am very happy with the services provided by Hannah. She continuously communicated with me about my dogs and sent photos of them. She relieved my anxiety of leaving them.”
12. Caleb B.
“Caleb was AMAZING! Gave us great updates and was so patient and caring for our dogs. We could not recommend him more.”
13. Marissa H.
About: I can't say whether I am a dog or cat person, I've had both in the past! I've been taking care of pets on and off of Rover since I can remember. I don't have my own pet currently but am SO excited for that day to come! I live and work in Lincoln! I work mostly weekdays and occasional weekends, the specific days vary which allows me to be pretty flexible. I start at 7:30a, so if you need a visit early in the morning I can do that! I finish anywhere from 12p-4:30p, depending on the day. I play sand volleyball on Monday nights, happy to work around that. Overall I feel I have plenty of time in my schedule and would love to put that time to good use! I have had a number of pets in my life, and am grateful for all of them! Most recently I helped raise kittens, and provided them a safe place to grow up for their first few months. People depend on me to provide safe, nurturing care for their creatures :)
14. Abigail B.
“Abigail was great with our pup! She did a great job bonding with him and easing him into getting to know her. We felt very comfortable leaving him know she was taking such good care of him!”
15. Katie M.
“I HIGHLY recommend Katie to all pet owners! Katie is reliable, kind, and responsive, and she can adapt to all circumstances with grace and ease. She's very calm and loving and gentle with pets, and our dog adored her. I'm fortunate to have had her dogsit for us, and I'm grateful we are able to call upon her when needed.”
16. Dom M.
“Dom was very thoughtful, caring, understanding and flexible. He was very sweet to our animals when we did our meet and greet. We would definitely use Dom again!”
17. Kirsten R.
“Kirsten has demonstrated nothing but skill and grace with pet care since I have known her. She loves animals so incredibly much and dedicates herself to making sure that her dog is well taken care of. Kirsten has also spent time working at a shelter where she developed her abilities and an even further connection with animals. If I needed someone to take care of my pet, I would call Kirsten first.”
