“Abby did an excellent job caring caring for my little dog. She treated him with love and kindness and followed my directions to a T. She sent pictures and notes about how their day went. I will definitely ask her again.”

“Peyton was fantastic!!! She accommodated us at the last minute and was able to watch Jax in our home. She took Jax on a couple of runs….one in the rain!😀 We were impressed by how she connected with Jax.”

About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for pets, from childhood dogs and cats to hands-on work in veterinary clinics. For the past six years, I’ve worked in small animal vet clinics as a kennel technician and veterinary assistant, where I’ve cared for pets with a wide range of personalities and needs. I’m experienced in safely and sensitively handling pets who may be anxious, reactive, or uncomfortable with strangers. I’m comfortable administering medications, including insulin injections for diabetic pets, and I have experience caring for senior pets, pets with chronic conditions, those recovering from surgery, and pets on special diets. I also have experience with puppies and can reinforce basic training such as house-training and routine consistency. My clinical background has trained me to read pet body language, recognize stress signals early, and prevent issues before they escalate. You can expect consistent communication and detailed updates while your pet is in my care. I treat every pet like my own while maintaining professional standards, with a strong focus on safety, comfort, and trust, for both pets and their owners. I am currently a full-time student, but I am available every weekday morning between 8:00 and 11:00 AM and in the evening from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. I am also available most weekends. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and any special instructions. With my veterinary clinic experience, I prioritize safety by monitoring behavior and health, securing doors and leashes, and preventing stress or hazards. I respect my clients’ homes and provide consistent communication and detailed updates so you can feel confident while you’re away.
“Alaina is the best! She was so great at meeting ours & our dog's needs and she exceeded our expectations. She sent numerous pictures each day & gave a rundown of how he was doing. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Both kitties seemed to be unfazed by my absence, which speaks to Ashley's care and attention. I really appreciated the pics too! I am very grateful to have found someone that I can rely on while away from home.”

“Marie took such good care of Hunter! She took him on lots of walks and made sure he got the attention he needed. Marie clearly likes dogs and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.”

About: I've taken care of every pet you can think of! Your fur babies will be constantly supervised and engaged in mentally and physically stimulating activities throughout their care! Pet care is a crucial aspect of my daily routine, so I prioritize it by allocating specific time slots for feeding, providing fresh water, and engaging in walks or playtime. Additionally, I maintain weekly checklists to ensure that grooming, cleaning, and other essential tasks are consistently addressed. I view pet care as an opportunity for quality time rather than a chore, and it plays a significant role in keeping my pets happy and healthy. When caring for pets, I focus on providing consistent, attentive care that fits their individual needs. At home, I follow a set routine that includes feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, and regular grooming for my pets. In a client’s home, I make sure to stick to the pet’s usual schedule and habits as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I handle tasks like feeding, walks, litter box or waste cleanup, medication if needed, and, of course, giving plenty of attention and affection. I also keep clients updated with messages or photos so they know their pets are happy and well cared for.

Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I work a flexible schedule and truly love spending time with dogs and cats. I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, pet boarding, and doggy daycare mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I will be starting school again at the end of August, but I’m happy to adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs and keep them happy and comfortable. My home is smoke-free, clean, and pet-friendly. I provide safe indoor and outdoor spaces for play, plus toys, treats, and cozy resting areas. I also have multiple crates available if needed. I share my home with two small, friendly dogs and three loving cats who love making new friends, but I can also keep pets separate for shy dogs, senior pets, or special needs pets. I’m comfortable with puppy care, senior dog care, and administering oral medication.
“Hannah did a great job with the house sitting and looking after our dog, Geordi. She contacted us a couple days before our trip to re-confirm the start time, which also confirmed for us that she was planning to be there. She sent photos from time to time of Geordi on a walk, playing in the house and yard, and getting all the attention his heart desired. Hannah left the house looking as good or better than she found it. We would love to have Hannah house sit again.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and have cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. This allows me to not only recognize the varied needs and behaviors that different pets may have, but also and be able to sympathize and cater to those specific needs and behaviors while creating bonds with each animal. I have availability for drop in visits and walks Monday-Friday at 10am and boarding (in my home) Friday-Sunday. I also offer doggy park field trips on Fridays at 11:30. I offer pet care (in clients home, or mine for dog friendly pups) whether it’s feeding, bathing, or stimulating playtime and long walks. I have reliable means of transportation and enjoy going to the dog park or on other fun adventures with the pups. I also have a friendly 10 year old tibetan spaniel that loves to tag along if you’re dog enjoys company from furry friends, however I am very understanding of the fact that dogs have different social behaviors and that some dogs require one on one time. A pet in my care will never be put into a situation that puts their or anyone else’s safety at risk.

“Jennifer was amazing with our 3 set-in-their-ways pooches. She got them walked and fed as instructed and went above the bar to snuggle them and do extra chores around the house while we were gone all week! We had no worries as she sent check-in messages and photos to let us know everything was going well. Would highly recommend her!”

Arnold Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Carly was super friendly and very responsible. Great communication and she sent photos and updates while we were gone. She was great with our little pet family and our puppy seemed to have grown so much since we left 3 days ago. We highly recommend Carly and we will be having her help out in the future!

Carly was great!! She made our trip stress free knowing our pups were well taken care of! Great communication and photos of our boys. One of our pups is dealing with a major health issue and she was able to adhere to his medication schedule and administer his meds. Besides meds, their routines were followed and she was very loving with our dogs who are affectionate (overly at times). I will definitely be asking her to sit for us in the future!!
