About: I don’t just watch pets, I genuinely connect with them. I’ve cared for everything from high energy puppies to senior dogs with medication needs. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level so they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I started dog sitting as a business this past summer after years of watching pets for friends and family. I realized how much I loved it and decided to turn my passion into something more. Since then, I’ve had the joy of caring for all kinds of dogs, from tiny toy poodles to big, lovable Rottweilers. While I’m still growing my reviews on Rover, I have glowing testimonials from many families I’ve worked with outside the app. What sets me apart from other sitters is my patience, reliability, and strong intuition with animals. I treat every dog like family, not just a job. Whether your pup needs a belly rub, a specific feeding routine, or extra reassurance if they’re nervous, I notice the little things and take them seriously. I also send lots of photos and updates so you always feel connected. I’m a full time college student, and dog sitting helps me pay for my education, so when you book with me, you’re not just hiring someone who loves dogs, you’re also supporting a student working hard to fund her future. During the school year, I’m based in Philadelphia (zip code 19122), where I live in a spacious apartment with a fenced yard, perfect for pups who need outdoor time. My apartment is about 20 minutes from Delco! So it’s not far at all if you’re located in delco! During summer and holiday breaks, I stay at my family’s home in Delaware County PA, which also has a fenced yard and plenty of space for your dog to relax and play. Your dog will never be left alone for long, I’m home most evenings and weekends, and even when I step out, there’s always someone around to give your pup the love and care they deserve And just for fun, if you have a Bernese Mountain Dog, please book with me immediately. They’re my dream dog, and I’ll probably cry (in a good way). I’m home the majority of the time! I only have a few college classes, four on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and just one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also work twice a week for only four hours, and my job is right next to my apartment. I often go home between classes, so your dog won’t be left alone for long at all. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, love, and potty breaks throughout the day Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I have a spacious, fenced backyard for supervised outdoor play and plenty of space indoors to relax. My home is pet-friendly with gates and safety measures from when we had our own dog, so your pet will be comfortable and secure. I’m attentive, patient, and always make sure pets are never left alone for long periods. Whether your dog is high-energy or prefers quiet cuddles, they’ll be loved, watched, and treated like family every step of the way.

“Yasemin took such good care of our cat Poulenc. She administered medication and made sure to get pictures for the Rover card when checking in and out. I'm so glad she's in our neighborhood! Thank you!”

“Kathy is my go to sitter! If you ever have the chance to have her take care of your animals you will be more than happy! She has a way of putting my cat at ease while I am away. She takes the time to play with her and interact with her! I am thrilled with the love and care she gives to my pet. I highly recommend her as being responsible and caring.”

About: I grew up with a very active Pomeranian and have taken care of family friends' dogs as well. I also grew up with five cats and love interacting with all animals! Im currently working part time as a teacher, and would love to walk and play with your pets in the morning on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday! I am respectful of others' homes and will be extra careful with doors and locks to keep your pets and home safe when I visit.

“Shawna did a fantastic job dropping in & tending to my cat's basic needs. She honored arrival/departure time and followed my instructions perfectly. I will definitely hire her again!”

About: I've cared for and looked after dogs of various breeds for years and love interacting with new pets. I have experience in caring for pets for various durations, from quick check-in visits to several week long stays. I regularly work remotely, but my schedule can sometimes vary. I am generally available early morning and in the evening, and all day throughout the weekend. I have a fenced backyard in which dogs can safely roam freely, gates for any pets who cannot handle stairs, and am able to cater to other requirements as needed.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 7 years old and have loved taking care of animals since. Over the pandemic, I spent a lot of time watching and caring for neighbors’ dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs and more. During this time I worked with blind and deaf dogs who needed some extra love and care. I have also worked at a veterinary hospital at the doggy day care and pet boarding. I supervised dogs to keep them safe during play, administered medication to boarding animals, and made sure that all boarding animals were safe and healthy. The animals I watched during this included dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, chinchillas, bunnies, and guinea pigs. I love spending time with animals! Each one is unique and special and I love building relationships with them! Usually I will be available Mondays and Wednesdays after 2pm and most of the day Friday through Sunday. That can be flexible depending on your needs! Since I live in a college dorm, I am not able to offer services in my home, but I am still able to offer services in client's homes. I watched many animals in the past who I either checked on/walked during the day when their owners were out or stayed with overnight when their owners were on vacation. I am very flexible and am able to continue to check in on/walk pets through out the day in clients' homes.

“Dan did a really great job taking care of my cat! He reliably showed up at the correct times and fed her the correct amount, which, since she is on a special diet, is extremely important. For the cat's part, she actually ate when Dan fed her, which hasn't always been the case with previous pet sitters. Dan also provided regular updates and pictures after each visit.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for over 4 years and have dogs of my own. I am comfortable handling a variety of situation based on the needs of the pets. My schedule is very flexible, and to the needs of the pets. I am not currently working and can adjust my schedule around your pets! I care for my clients pets in their homes. I can stay the night or just provide periodical visits throughout the day. I do not care for pets in my own home.

Ardmore dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alex sid twice-daily walks with our lab mix (who loved Alex immediately!) and provided care for our bearded dragon while we were out of town for a week. Our animals got great care and attention, and Alex was punctual and provided great daily communication. Highly recommend!

We love Olivia! She watches our three kitties and disabled pup and she’s great with them. We are super anxious people and have issues with people giving our pets their meds in the past but Olivia is super trustworthy and reliable. Plus, she always sends us pics which we love!!! Thank you Olivia!!! ♥️

Hannah was fantastic with our pup Leo! After our second dog had to spend a weekend in the emergency room, she was very flexible and accommodating to switch up the schedule unexpectedly and took very good care of our boy when he was home alone and needed extra love! We came home to a very happy pup :)
