About: Experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. Have owned as many as 5 at one time, as well as fostering dogs, cats and kittens, including a special needs beagle with degenerative myelopathy (he had a cool wheelchair :) . I love them all and will care for them like they are my own. I will scratch and play and provide belly rubs on command. If I sit for your dog in my home, my cat, Frankie, will just roll her eyes and move on :) I am happy to work with the schedule you prefer for your furry kids, even if it's not the same as mine. Please contact me with questions, I am happy to chat first so we are both comfortable. While I no longer work from home, I still have plenty of time to care for dogs in my home, as I have done for my own dogs 😊 I have a fenced yard and a special “dog room” with toys a few different sized crates for when they need some space from my cat 😊.
About: I've been surrounded by dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, frogs and fish for 35+ years. I've raised, house-trained, walked, entertained and loved a variety of dogs and cats my entire life. I never get tired of these sweet creatures! I have experience with all dogs and cats, regardless of age, breed or temperament. As I'm now only working part-time providing early intervention services for children, and am self-employed, I have a great deal of flexibility to care for your dogs and cats. I'm available for drop-ins to feed, play with and care for your sweet pets as needed - throughout the day and night - as well as dog-walking, as it fits into your schedule. I've spent the last 20+ years working as a teacher and developmental therapist, educating children who have developmental delays and disabilities. Now, I've decided to focus additionally on my love of animals. Since I was a small child, I've adored pets, and have many years of experience caring for a variety of them. I'm very patient and appreciative of each animal's personality. I currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own, and have used this service as a customer as well, so I can understand your point of view as "parents".

I'm reliable, attentive, and truly love what I do! Your pet’s comfort and happiness are my top priorities. As a student, I have a flexible schedule that works great for pet care. Whether your pet needs a walk, some playtime, or overnight care, I’m happy to work around your routine to make sure they’re happy and well cared for. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with plenty of space for your furry friend to relax and feel at home. I love taking pets to nearby parks and nature trails for safe, fun walks and fresh air. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on creating a calm, loving environment where they feel secure. I always follow any specific routines, feeding instructions, and safety guidelines to ensure your pet is happy, healthy, and well looked after.
“Tara is wonderful! She has been weekly walking our giant goof of a dog, Jolene, for almost an entire year. Tara provides great updates, photos and always gives Jolene extra belly rubs.”

About: I have cared for dogs and cats since I was 12! I am constantly called upon by my friends and family to pet sit for them when they are away. I am currently unable to have a pet at the moment due to a demanding work schedule/roommates, but I love going to see my friends/families dogs and I honor the trust they put in me when I am asked to care for them. I love the animals in my life and I'll love yours, too!! This summer I am available very often due to my work schedule (I am a teacher on summer break- woohoo!) so I will be around to love on and care for your pets super frequently. I can care for pets daily! Due to having roommates will allergies, I unfortunately cannot open my home to pets. However, I have had pets in my own home since I was born and have independently cared for pets from the age of 12+. I play, feed/water, give attention to, bathe, walk, etc. all the animals in my life and have for quite a while.
“Lauran was fantastic while I was visiting Louisville for the Kentucky Oaks and Derby weekend. Her communication was top notch, always quick to respond and kept me updated throughout the two days. I especially appreciated her flexibility when I needed to add an extra walk at the last minute, she was incredibly accommodating and handled it without any issues. It’s a huge relief to find someone so reliable and easy to work with when you're visiting another city for an event. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a professional and adaptable walker!”

About: I took care of my 3 dogs for 10 years from when they were born and until they passed away. When I would train them I mainly focused on using positive reinforcement to let them know what is and isn't good for them. I'm currently a student and love to take walks around the parks ( a perfect place for a dog!) I also love to explore and be very active. When I took care of my dogs I made sure to always be in the same room as them so I can keep an eye on them to make sure they aren't getting into things that are dangerous for them
About: I love animals more than I like most people. I have taken care of cats most of my life; we had a minimum of 3 in our home at all times. They were all part of the family with their own personalities. Once I was out on my own l had cats, one blind, and a Siberian husky, (who was the light of my life). I live in a condo community and in my building we are all taking care of our fur babies while on vacations etc. I just love animals, not much more I can say. You have my word I will care for them like they’re my own. I work at a place where I can step away during the day to tend to your pets. We are usual up early and home by 5. My day is Flexible (within reason). I can handle whatever you need. Feedings, playtime, lap time, outside time, what ever you need to feel good about being away from your fur baby.

I don't have any special skills but offer a lot of love as a current dental student who can't have their own pet currently. I am currently a student with a busier schedule now that I am in clinic. On a case by case basis I may be available during the week if I do not have to see a patient. Most weekends I am available though! “Eleanor did such an amazing job with my husky She was very punctual and handled Freya like a pro! It’s always a frustration of mine anytime I leave town and come back to a Wiley dog who has been allowed to pull on the leash and jump on people. Eleanor is the first dog walker I’ve had that has expertly kept Freya in line and I’m so appreciative! I will definitely be rebooking in the future.thanks so much!”

“I have an old and sensitive GSD that I am normally very protective over; I had to leave her for a week and the whole time I felt my dog was completely safe and attended to in Kathryn's hands. She provided meaningful updates and expressed genuine affection, support, and care for my animal. I would definitely have her care for my dog again.”
