About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a child and have years of hands-on experience caring for them through different stages of life. I’ve helped care for Golden Retrievers from birth, giving me experience with puppies as well as adult and senior dogs. I currently have a rescue dog, Lucy, whom I’ve worked with extensively to build trust, confidence, and good manners. We run together daily, and through consistent training she has learned commands including sit, stay, shake, and other everyday manners. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. I’m patient, attentive, active, and committed to making sure the dogs in my care feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m very active and love spending time outdoors. I typically start my day with a morning walk or run with my dog, and throughout the day I make plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. I’m also happy to slow things down for dogs who prefer a more relaxed day with cuddles and companionship. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routine as closely as possible. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or would rather curl up and relax, I’m happy to adjust my day around their individual needs. I care for every pet as if they were my own while respecting the routine and instructions their owner provides. In a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive regular potty breaks or walks, and get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I’m also mindful of keeping their environment clean and secure. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, especially when meeting someone new. I take the time to let them become comfortable with me at their own pace and will follow any specific instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, training, or household routines. I’m also happy to provide regular photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I've been surrounded by dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, frogs and fish for 35+ years. I've raised, house-trained, walked, entertained and loved a variety of dogs and cats my entire life. I never get tired of these sweet creatures! I have experience with all dogs and cats, regardless of age, breed or temperament. As I'm now only working part-time providing early intervention services for children, and am self-employed, I have a great deal of flexibility to care for your dogs and cats. I'm available for drop-ins to feed, play with and care for your sweet pets as needed - throughout the day and night - as well as dog-walking, as it fits into your schedule. I've spent the last 20+ years working as a teacher and developmental therapist, educating children who have developmental delays and disabilities. Now, I've decided to focus additionally on my love of animals. Since I was a small child, I've adored pets, and have many years of experience caring for a variety of them. I'm very patient and appreciative of each animal's personality. I currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own, and have used this service as a customer as well, so I can understand your point of view as "parents".

About: I adopted a rambunctious shelter cat 5 years ago. She’s a wild child with a big personality! And I took in a stray cat about 2 years ago, who needed lots of care, including surgeries, food insecurity behaviors, etc. I’ve cared for cats my entire life, but these 2 girls have taught me how to handle the extremes. I am very knowledgeable about cats and their needs, and I can promise you, your baby will be taken care of as if they were my own (aka like perfect princess angels that I’d go to war for) I work from home, so I can immediately take care of any and all needs. I frequently check on my 2 cats, and have no issue stepping away from my desk if needed. In my home: My 2 cats have their own bedroom, catered to their playtime and nap time. They have free rein of the house, and are very welcoming to other cats. They are up to date on vaccinations and vet care, and they do not go outside for their safety. In your home: I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own, with kindness and patience. I will follow your routine. I will be sure to change my clothes and take off my shoes to avoid any anxiety from smells of my own pets.

About: I have years of experience taking care of both dogs and cats, and with housesitting as well. I am able to help support animals who have health concerns, special needs, and anxiety. I can administer medication and give shots as well. I have a senior kitty and an adult age cat myself, so plenty of experience with senior care. And I have experience with dogs of all ages, including puppies and seniors. I am happy to work with any owner to accommodate their pets needs and make them feel comfortable while they are away. I am have nearly full availability the next couple of months, so please reach out and I should be able to accommodate any time frame. I will abide by all house and property rules for the animals safety which includes leashes, fences, walking paths. I am happy to work with owners on what they are most comfortable with. I do not bring pets inside my home as my cats are usually not friendly to that! But I am always happy to stay at others homes.

About: Growing up, I’ve always been surrounded with pets and been given the opportunity to care for dogs numerous times. I am very patient with animals and genuinely find joy spending my time with them. After recently graduating from college and moving into a studio apartment, it has been an adjustment not being surrounded by pets. Through Rover, I’m excited to not only help others, but also to find fulfillment spending time with pets. Although I work a 9-5, I am willing to make plenty of time before or after work to accommodate your needs. I am a morning person, so I would be more than happy to take your dog on an early morning walk or be there to let them out. I also will be able to take care of them in the afternoon. My weekends are free to help at any time. You can trust me with your pet because I treat animals with the same amount of respect that I’d treat any person. About: Experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. Have owned as many as 5 at one time, as well as fostering dogs, cats and kittens, including a special needs beagle with degenerative myelopathy (he had a cool wheelchair :) . I love them all and will care for them like they are my own. I will scratch and play and provide belly rubs on command. About: I've been petsitting ever since I was younger and grew up around dogs my whole life. I don't have any special skills but offer a lot of love as a current dental student who can't have their own pet currently. I am currently a student with a busier schedule now that I am in clinic. On a case by case basis I may be available during the week if I do not have to see a patient. Most weekends I am available though! I am very flexible with care, each family and home has their own requirements about how their pet is cared for. About: I've had at least 3 dogs within my family at a time, ranging for 50-130 pounds. I have experience with all breeds of dogs from toy poodles to great danes, and I've never met a dog I don't love. I've taken care of dogs who had daily pill regimens, and dogs who love to start their day at 6 am, so I've gained some interesting experience along the way. I'm very patient with puppies because I've trained two puppies already, and I know the type of commitment it takes to maintain training. I always had bigger breeds growing up so I'm always open to dogs other people might be hesitant about, and I know there's no such thing as a bully breed!
