I wish I did not have to write this review, but I just want to state the facts. This is my first time using Rover and I was looking for a house/pet sitter for my two cats that I rescued last year from The Arrow Fund. They are mother and daughter, quite shy, and I was hoping for someone that wound have spent time with them. Keylee told me that she also has a rescue cat, and that was the winning factor for me. However, over the Labor Day weekend, she left the house at 8 am of the Monday and did not return until almost noon the following day. We have a Ring camera at the garage, and after I realized that it was late in the afternoon on Monday and she was not at home, I called my neighbor to feed my cats, since she did not replay to my messages. I was concerned for her wellbeing, but when she finally reply, the following day, her explanation was that “I was babysitting and honestly it was too late Monday night to return to the house”. We were on vacation and returned on September 19th, and after this event, I felt necessary to monitor her presence in the house using the ring camera. I had to ask my neighbor to feed my cats few more times.

My dog has been struggling with severe separation anxiety, and meeting Kaylee has given us hope. When I first reached out, she was incredibly kind and eager to help. At our meet and greet, my dog is usually very cautious and nervous around strangers, but he warmed up to her quickly, which immediately made me feel more comfortable. During the visit, she stayed calm when he became anxious, comforted him throughout the visit, and helped him settle while I was away. I really appreciated her communication and the updates she gave me afterward about how he did. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with her and seeing how things progress. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a respectful, communicative, and caring pet sitter.
