About: I grew up with multiple pets, we often called it the "Cook Family Zoo". I've helped take care of many cats, dogs, turtles, fish and even ferrets at one point! I currently have two dogs a terrier/cattle dog mix and a German shepherd/lab mix puppy! They both are rescues and love to cuddle. About: I adopted a rambunctious shelter cat 5 years ago. She’s a wild child with a big personality! And I took in a stray cat about 2 years ago, who needed lots of care, including surgeries, food insecurity behaviors, etc. I’ve cared for cats my entire life, but these 2 girls have taught me how to handle the extremes. I am very knowledgeable about cats and their needs, and I can promise you, your baby will be taken care of as if they were my own (aka like perfect princess angels that I’d go to war for) I work from home, so I can immediately take care of any and all needs. They have free rein of the house, and are very welcoming to other cats. They are up to date on vaccinations and vet care, and they do not go outside for their safety. In your home: I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own, with kindness and patience. I will follow your routine. “Ami took care of my buddy like he was her own. I got so many pictures of my anxious guy looking happy and comfortable. Ami certainly has experience in helping soothe dogs, and intuitively deduced a lot about what Jake needed to settle in. I was especially impressed with how many walks he got, and how his space was respected when he would choose a sleeping spot (even when his choice was inconvenient for household members)! I can't recommend Ami highly enough, and will definitely rebook with her in the future!”
