About: I've been surrounded by dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, frogs and fish for 35+ years. I've raised, house-trained, walked, entertained and loved a variety of dogs and cats my entire life. I never get tired of these sweet creatures! I have experience with all dogs and cats, regardless of age, breed or temperament. As I'm now only working part-time providing early intervention services for children, and am self-employed, I have a great deal of flexibility to care for your dogs and cats. I'm available for drop-ins to feed, play with and care for your sweet pets as needed - throughout the day and night - as well as dog-walking, as it fits into your schedule. I've spent the last 20+ years working as a teacher and developmental therapist, educating children who have developmental delays and disabilities. Now, I've decided to focus additionally on my love of animals. Since I was a small child, I've adored pets, and have many years of experience caring for a variety of them. I'm very patient and appreciative of each animal's personality. I currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own, and have used this service as a customer as well, so I can understand your point of view as "parents".

About: Growing up, I’ve always been surrounded with pets and been given the opportunity to care for dogs numerous times. I am very patient with animals and genuinely find joy spending my time with them. After recently graduating from college and moving into a studio apartment, it has been an adjustment not being surrounded by pets. Through Rover, I’m excited to not only help others, but also to find fulfillment spending time with pets. Although I work a 9-5, I am willing to make plenty of time before or after work to accommodate your needs. I am a morning person, so I would be more than happy to take your dog on an early morning walk or be there to let them out. I also will be able to take care of them in the afternoon. My weekends are free to help at any time. You can trust me with your pet because I treat animals with the same amount of respect that I’d treat any person. About: Former volunteer for the Humane Society with commercial kennel experience. Animals are unique individuals, just like us, and your pets deserve to be treated as such. Whether you've got active pets who need lots of playtime, shy kitties that need patience to warm up to strangers, or independent cats who just like their space, I meet them all with dedication and personal attention. I work evenings, so I'm available during the daytime hours (7am ~ 3pm) for drop in visits. Visits can be as short as 30 minutes to check up on things, or as long as 2 hrs to include playtime, cleanup, watering plants, etc. I am not currently able to do housesits or late-night visits Will provide at least one update per day during my visit, including photos. We can also go over emergency plans and vet contact info during the meet and greet.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a child and have years of hands-on experience caring for them through different stages of life. I’ve helped care for Golden Retrievers from birth, giving me experience with puppies as well as adult and senior dogs. I currently have a rescue dog, Lucy, whom I’ve worked with extensively to build trust, confidence, and good manners. We run together daily, and through consistent training she has learned commands including sit, stay, shake, and other everyday manners. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. I’m patient, attentive, active, and committed to making sure the dogs in my care feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m very active and love spending time outdoors. I typically start my day with a morning walk or run with my dog, and throughout the day I make plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. I’m also happy to slow things down for dogs who prefer a more relaxed day with cuddles and companionship. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routine as closely as possible. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or would rather curl up and relax, I’m happy to adjust my day around their individual needs. I care for every pet as if they were my own while respecting the routine and instructions their owner provides. In a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive regular potty breaks or walks, and get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I’m also mindful of keeping their environment clean and secure. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, especially when meeting someone new. I take the time to let them become comfortable with me at their own pace and will follow any specific instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, training, or household routines. I’m also happy to provide regular photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe and well cared for while you’re away.

About: Experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. Have owned as many as 5 at one time, as well as fostering dogs, cats and kittens, including a special needs beagle with degenerative myelopathy (he had a cool wheelchair :) . I love them all and will care for them like they are my own. I will scratch and play and provide belly rubs on command. If I sit for your dog in my home, my cat, Frankie, will just roll her eyes and move on :) I am happy to work with the schedule you prefer for your furry kids, even if it's not the same as mine. About: My family and I love animals. I’ve worked at a vet office and have had all types of animals including dogs, cats, ferret, rabbit and pig. I currently have 2 dogs and a mini pig. I love working with animals of all types and I am available to come to your home for walks and visits or I am happy to have them in my home. I have a fully fenced yard. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for a while from family pets to neighbors, and friends. I think something that sets me apart from other sitters is that I treat each dog or cat like my own. I will send updates and pictures to the owner so they know there pet is in good hands. I handle daily feeding, walks, bathing, and of course playtime. I have experience with kittens and bottle feeding them. I also pet-sit for neighbors when they travel, and I make sure every pet gets lots of love and attention. About: I have always loved dogs and wanted to be around them. At age 10, I started my own dog walking business in my neighborhood. Then a few years later my family finally got our own dog (she’s a husky named Skye). Since then, I helped with daily caretaking (walks, grooming, feeding, etc.) until I left for college. During that time I also dogsat for about 10 different families. Many of those families were reoccurring customers! The dogs ranged from puppies to seniors, so I have experience with dogs of all ages! I will love your dog like you love your dog! I am currently a student, and it is now the summer so I am extra flexible with your pets needs! I have a part time job a few day a week, so I have lots of time to give to your pets! Overall, my schedule is very flexible! I will care for your dog in your home however I am needed! While I am home for the summer, I cannot host any dogs in my house, but when I am back to school in the fall I can!
