About: I've been surrounded by dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, frogs and fish for 35+ years. I've raised, house-trained, walked, entertained and loved a variety of dogs and cats my entire life. I never get tired of these sweet creatures! I have experience with all dogs and cats, regardless of age, breed or temperament. As I'm now only working part-time providing early intervention services for children, and am self-employed, I have a great deal of flexibility to care for your dogs and cats. I'm available for drop-ins to feed, play with and care for your sweet pets as needed - throughout the day and night - as well as dog-walking, as it fits into your schedule. I've spent the last 20+ years working as a teacher and developmental therapist, educating children who have developmental delays and disabilities. Now, I've decided to focus additionally on my love of animals. Since I was a small child, I've adored pets, and have many years of experience caring for a variety of them. I'm very patient and appreciative of each animal's personality. Have owned as many as 5 at one time, as well as fostering dogs, cats and kittens, including a special needs beagle with degenerative myelopathy (he had a cool wheelchair :) . I love them all and will care for them like they are my own. I will scratch and play and provide belly rubs on command. We have three friendly resident dogs: Auggie (12 years old Staffy mix) Sgetti (5 years old husky/shepard mix), and Fern (7 months old rough coat American hunt terrier). I carefully manage interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe, and I will always prioritize your pet’s routine and needs. About: I have always loved dogs and wanted to be around them. At age 10, I started my own dog walking business in my neighborhood. Then a few years later my family finally got our own dog (she’s a husky named Skye). Since then, I helped with daily caretaking (walks, grooming, feeding, etc.) until I left for college. During that time I also dogsat for about 10 different families. Many of those families were reoccurring customers! The dogs ranged from puppies to seniors, so I have experience with dogs of all ages!
