About: I have loved and cared for animals all my life. Most recently I began regularly fostering dogs with LMAS. I have fostered over a dozen dogs of all ages but I specialize with puppies. I focus on house and crate training with puppies and I enjoy multiple daily walks through my neighborhood park. I currently work from home from 9-5 and I am free on weekends. In my spare time I enjoy running and riding my bike. I believe in the more the merrier so if your pup is up to join I'm all for it! My home has a moderately sized fenced in backyard and a screened in patio that is very popular with my foster puppies. I enjoy house and crate training and I have had a lot of success through threshold training. I have a Siberian Husky and a Tabby Cat that get along with each other and they also love making new friends.

About: I have a genuine love for animals and I have been pet/house sitting for about 10 years. I have always had pets and been around all different kinds of animals. I just graduated from law school, I started my new job post law school. I do work in an office, but I am able to stop in and make sure your animal is taken care of. About: Hi! My name is Alex and I'm a lifelong animal lover! I’ve had dogs all my life but learned so much more when I started fostering in 2014. Over the years, I’ve raised four dogs of my own, fostered 8 dogs for three different rescue organizations in Kentucky and Ohio, and continue to volunteer with local rescues. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet as an individual—whether they’re energetic puppies, mellow seniors, or anywhere in between. I work second shift during the week and occasional Saturday’s. This gives me time in the morning to work with the pups and get them nice and tired for an afternoon nap! Crate training is an important part of my philosophy with dogs and I try to make sure they’re comfortable and safe. Your pet will stay in a safe, loving home that has a fully fenced back yard for secure outdoor time. I also have spare rooms if your pup needs space and time away from others when in new environment is needed or if they do not do well with stairs. We have three friendly resident dogs: Auggie (12 years old Staffy mix) Sgetti (5 years old husky/shepard mix), and Fern (7 months old rough coat American hunt terrier). I carefully manage interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe, and I will always prioritize your pet’s routine and needs. Whether your pet needs a day of activities, reliable walks, or a cozy and calm home-away-from-home, I’ve got you covered.

I love animals of all types and have experience with special needs dogs, administering medication, and walking reactive dogs. My parents have 4 dogs as well that I routinely care for. I understand how comforting it is to know your pets are in good hands and I would love to be able to be that person for you! I typically work evenings, therefore daytime walks and visits are ideal for me and ensure I have lots of time to spend with your babies. I am happy to provide leashes and poop bags in case they are ever forgotten and i will ensure owners receive updates about their pets regularly.

I’m patient, reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their family is away. For boarding and doggy day care, I care for only one dog or one family’s dogs at a time. If you have multiple dogs from the same household, I’m happy to care for them together. This allows me to provide plenty of personalized attention in a calm, comfortable home environment without mixing unfamiliar dogs. I have three cats, but they can be kept completely separate from your dog(s) if needed. My goal is to provide a safe, relaxed, home-like experience where your pets receive lots of individual attention and care. As a professor, I bring professionalism, responsibility, and strong communication to every pet-sitting job. My schedule is especially flexible during evenings, weekends, holidays, and university breaks. About: I’ve had pets my entire life and have been caring for the animals of friends and family for many years. I have experience caring for puppies and older dogs. I understand how hard it is to leave the furry member of the family to someone else’s care so I am dedicated to treating them as my own. I am currently a PhD student so I have many flexible hours throughout the day. With access to a car, I can reliably drop in and walk animals several times a day if needed. I can come to the home to care for and walk pets as needed. I know how to walk dogs of many sizes safely and have even leash trained my cat. Pets have different care needs and I am well equipped to adapt to each pet.

About: Hi! I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and animals have always been one of my biggest passions. I currently have two rescue dogs and a rescue kitten, so I am constantly surrounded by animals and am very familiar with the care, attention, and love they require. My dogs are apartment dogs with a small yard, so we average about 5–6 walks a day. Walking, playing with, and loving on animals are genuinely some of my favorite things to do. My mission is to provide the best care possible for your pet while also making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I have plenty of experience caring for puppies, kittens, elderly dogs and cats, administering medications, animal hygiene, and more. I am comfortable around animals of any size, color, or breed, and I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. When I come to walk, play with, visit, or take care of your animals, I will dedicate my time to making sure they are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I love being able to spend my time doing something I genuinely enjoy while giving other people peace of mind knowing their pets are being cared for. A little about my own pets: I have my Pittie, Bandit, who is 6 years old and a rescue. I also have Koda, my 3 month old Pitbull/German Shepherd mix who is also a rescue. I have a large 2 bedroom apartment with plenty of space and beds for playing, sleeping, and zoomies!

About: I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone new. I’ve lived all across the country, and every time we moved, one of my biggest worries was finding someone I truly trusted with my dogs. That experience is a big part of why I want to provide the same kind of care and reassurance I’ve always looked for in a sitter. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have three dogs and two cats of my own, including a rescue pup so I totally get having a dog with some special quirks. I also spend time taking dogs from Louisville Metro Animal Services (LMAS) out on field trips, giving them a chance to get out of the shelter, explore, play, and get some much-deserved one-on-one attention. I have a soft spot for the pets who need a little extra patience. One of my dogs is extremely anxious and terrified of thunderstorms, so I understand that not every dog immediately warms up to a new person — and that’s okay! I’m happy to take things at their pace and learn what makes them feel comfortable and safe. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, and I’m comfortable administering medications and following detailed care routines. My experiences as a pediatric ICU nurse has taught me to be attentive to small changes, stay clam under pressure, follow detailed care instructions, and understand just how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for a member of your family. My dogs can be pretty anxious, so leaving them with a stranger has never been easy for me. I’m the pet parent who wants lots of updates and probably way too many pictures while I’m gone! When your pets are with me, expect plenty of photos and updates. I know how reassuring it is to see your dog happily lounging on the couch, enjoying their walk, or just being their goofy self while you’re away. I want you to enjoy your time away without wondering how things are going back home. Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your dog wants long walks, someone to throw their toy 100 times, or spend the evening curled up next to me, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I want you to be able to leave home knowing your pets are with someone who understands how much they mean to you - because I know exactly how that feels. I work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule that still leaves plenty of room for pet care! I work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, which gives me even more flexibility for drop-ins, walks, and spending some extra time with your pets on those days. I’m also an early riser, so morning visits are no problem for me — I’m happy to start my day with a walk, breakfast, litter box cleanup, or some quality time with your pet before heading to work. I know how important reliable scheduling is when someone is depending on you to care for their pets, so I’ll keep my Rover calendar updated to clearly reflect my availability. If I accept a booking, you can feel confident that I’ve made sure I have the time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve — along with plenty of photo updates along the way! Your pet’s safety and your trust are my top priorities. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely and respect your home as if it were my own. Before walks, I’ll make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure, and I’ll never let a dog off leash unless specifically instructed in a safe, designated area. During drop-ins, I’ll be mindful of doors, gates, medications, food, and anything else that could pose a safety risk. I’ll also pay attention to your pet’s behavior and never force interaction if they seem nervous or uncomfortable. As a pediatric ICU nurse, safety, attention to detail, and noticing when something seems “off” are second nature to me. I’ll keep you updated during each visit and communicate right away if I notice anything concerning. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing both your pet and your home are being treated with care and respect while you’re away.

About: Growing up, I’ve always been surrounded with pets and been given the opportunity to care for dogs numerous times. I am very patient with animals and genuinely find joy spending my time with them. After recently graduating from college and moving into a studio apartment, it has been an adjustment not being surrounded by pets. Through Rover, I’m excited to not only help others, but also to find fulfillment spending time with pets. Although I work a 9-5, I am willing to make plenty of time before or after work to accommodate your needs. I am a morning person, so I would be more than happy to take your dog on an early morning walk or be there to let them out. I also will be able to take care of them in the afternoon. My weekends are free to help at any time. You can trust me with your pet because I treat animals with the same amount of respect that I’d treat any person. It is my priority to ensure their safety while also having fun. I would love to take them on walks at the park and am open to having them at my apartment if needed.
