About: I've been surrounded by dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, frogs and fish for 35+ years. I've raised, house-trained, walked, entertained and loved a variety of dogs and cats my entire life. I never get tired of these sweet creatures! I have experience with all dogs and cats, regardless of age, breed or temperament. As I'm now only working part-time providing early intervention services for children, and am self-employed, I have a great deal of flexibility to care for your dogs and cats. I'm available for drop-ins to feed, play with and care for your sweet pets as needed - throughout the day and night - as well as dog-walking, as it fits into your schedule. I've spent the last 20+ years working as a teacher and developmental therapist, educating children who have developmental delays and disabilities. Now, I've decided to focus additionally on my love of animals. Since I was a small child, I've adored pets, and have many years of experience caring for a variety of them. I'm very patient and appreciative of each animal's personality. About: Since graduating high school, I’ve worked as a house and pet sitter for neighbors, friends, and family. About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life—ever since I was a toddler, there was always a dog or cat by my side. I have a special soft spot for dogs and cats, friends and family have trusted me to care for their furry family members while they’re away. I have hands-on experience with senior dogs, including administering medication with patience and care. I work full time but on weekends I’m free any time to walk or stay overnight with your 4 legged family members. About: I have traveled extensively through India and Central America and now that I am back home full time, I want to try to do all the things that I love to do, but I never had enough time to do. One of those things is taking care of my favorite animals. I love dogs and that is something that I want to experience as much as I can. About: Hi! My name is Alex and I'm a lifelong animal lover! I’ve had dogs all my life but learned so much more when I started fostering in 2014. Over the years, I’ve raised four dogs of my own, fostered 8 dogs for three different rescue organizations in Kentucky and Ohio, and continue to volunteer with local rescues. We have three friendly resident dogs: Auggie (12 years old Staffy mix) Sgetti (5 years old husky/shepard mix), and Fern (7 months old rough coat American hunt terrier). I carefully manage interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe, and I will always prioritize your pet’s routine and needs. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
