About: I've been surrounded by dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, frogs and fish for 35+ years. I've raised, house-trained, walked, entertained and loved a variety of dogs and cats my entire life. I never get tired of these sweet creatures! I have experience with all dogs and cats, regardless of age, breed or temperament. As I'm now only working part-time providing early intervention services for children, and am self-employed, I have a great deal of flexibility to care for your dogs and cats. I've spent the last 20+ years working as a teacher and developmental therapist, educating children who have developmental delays and disabilities. Now, I've decided to focus additionally on my love of animals. Since I was a small child, I've adored pets, and have many years of experience caring for a variety of them. I'm very patient and appreciative of each animal's personality. Have owned as many as 5 at one time, as well as fostering dogs, cats and kittens, including a special needs beagle with degenerative myelopathy (he had a cool wheelchair :) . It’s most importantly listening, understanding, and feeling for them. You have to know their language. At the moment, I’m still looking for work so I’m free most of the time. About: I have cared for dogs and cats since I was 12! I am constantly called upon by my friends and family to pet sit for them when they are away. I am currently unable to have a pet at the moment due to a demanding work schedule/roommates, but I love going to see my friends/families dogs and I honor the trust they put in me when I am asked to care for them.
