About: I've been surrounded by dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, frogs and fish for 35+ years. I've raised, house-trained, walked, entertained and loved a variety of dogs and cats my entire life. I never get tired of these sweet creatures! I have experience with all dogs and cats, regardless of age, breed or temperament. As I'm now only working part-time providing early intervention services for children, and am self-employed, I have a great deal of flexibility to care for your dogs and cats. I'm available for drop-ins to feed, play with and care for your sweet pets as needed - throughout the day and night - as well as dog-walking, as it fits into your schedule. I've spent the last 20+ years working as a teacher and developmental therapist, educating children who have developmental delays and disabilities. Now, I've decided to focus additionally on my love of animals. Since I was a small child, I've adored pets, and have many years of experience caring for a variety of them. I'm very patient and appreciative of each animal's personality. I currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own, and have used this service as a customer as well, so I can understand your point of view as "parents".

About: I adopted a rambunctious shelter cat 5 years ago. She’s a wild child with a big personality! And I took in a stray cat about 2 years ago, who needed lots of care, including surgeries, food insecurity behaviors, etc. I’ve cared for cats my entire life, but these 2 girls have taught me how to handle the extremes. I am very knowledgeable about cats and their needs, and I can promise you, your baby will be taken care of as if they were my own (aka like perfect princess angels that I’d go to war for) I work from home, so I can immediately take care of any and all needs. I frequently check on my 2 cats, and have no issue stepping away from my desk if needed. In my home: My 2 cats have their own bedroom, catered to their playtime and nap time. They have free rein of the house, and are very welcoming to other cats. They are up to date on vaccinations and vet care, and they do not go outside for their safety. In your home: I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own, with kindness and patience. I will follow your routine. I will be sure to change my clothes and take off my shoes to avoid any anxiety from smells of my own pets.

About: My passion for caring for animals started at a young age. I spent many hours volunteering at my local animal shelter as well as having the privilege of caring for my own pets at home. Growing up, I raised reptiles, fish, dogs, cats and hamsters….to name a few! In addition to being a down-to-earth, compassionate human, my friends would say I am trustworthy, responsible and reliable. I would love the opportunity to get to know you and your furbabies (we can probably just call them children at this point, right) :) I am a very active person and enjoy walking, hiking and spending as much time outdoors as possible. My schedule is very flexible which would allow me work around yours! I can’t wait to get to know your furry friend!

About: Experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. Have owned as many as 5 at one time, as well as fostering dogs, cats and kittens, including a special needs beagle with degenerative myelopathy (he had a cool wheelchair :) . I love them all and will care for them like they are my own. I will scratch and play and provide belly rubs on command. If I sit for your dog in my home, my cat, Frankie, will just roll her eyes and move on :) I am happy to work with the schedule you prefer for your furry kids, even if it's not the same as mine. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and send regular photos and updates so you know how they’re doing. Whether your pet loves walks, playtime, cuddles, quiet window time, or simply having someone nearby, I adjust my care to fit their personality. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pet is being cared for like one of my own. I work a full-time schedule, but I’m able to provide reliable care before work, during lunch when needed, after work, evenings, and weekends. For boarding pets, I make sure they have a safe, comfortable routine with plenty of attention and care while they’re staying with me. I provide a clean, safe and comfortable environment tailored to each pet’s needs and normal routine. My home has security cameras throughout the property, and dogs are always supervised outdoors and kept securely leashed in my unfenced yard. I work a consistent weekday schedule (8am-5pm), but I make time for pet care before and after work, and can do a midday check-in during my lunch break with a little advance notice. Your pet will still get regular attention, care, and company throughout the day. When caring for pets in your home, I always make it a priority to respect your space and follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible. I know how important consistency is and I do my best to keep things calm and familiar while you’re away. I’m very respectful of your home and will always leave things as I found them. I will also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing and can have peace of mind while you’re away. At this time, I offer care in clients’ homes only, which allows pets to stay in their own comfortable, familiar environment.
