I’ve been around dogs since I was a child and have years of hands-on experience caring for them through different stages of life. I’ve helped care for Golden Retrievers from birth, giving me experience with puppies as well as adult and senior dogs. I currently have a rescue dog, Lucy, whom I’ve worked with extensively to build trust, confidence, and good manners. We run together daily, and through consistent training she has learned commands including sit, stay, shake, and other everyday manners. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. I’m patient, attentive, active, and committed to making sure the dogs in my care feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

I care for every pet as if they were my own while respecting the routine and instructions their owner provides. In a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive regular potty breaks or walks, and get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I’m also mindful of keeping their environment clean and secure. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, especially when meeting someone new. I take the time to let them become comfortable with me at their own pace and will follow any specific instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, training, or household routines. I’m also happy to provide regular photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe and well cared for while you’re away.

Schedule
I’m very active and love spending time outdoors. I typically start my day with a morning walk or run with my dog, and throughout the day I make plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. I’m also happy to slow things down for dogs who prefer a more relaxed day with cuddles and companionship. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routine as closely as possible. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or would rather curl up and relax, I’m happy to adjust my day around their individual needs.
