About: I have a senior yellow lab (almost 13 years old!) who has been in my life since he was 8 weeks old. As he gets older, more and more care is required for him. I have experience in letting dogs out from at their home and taking dogs for walks when owners are away on vacation. I love making dogs happy with kind words, food/treats, sitting next to them and rubbing their belly. My home is perfect for boarding because I live in a quiet, traffic free area and it safe to walk or board your adorable pet. I also have a gated deck to enjoy fresh air when the weather is nice. Catherine was incredible with my cats! She was prompt and thorough with our drop in visits. My two cats were well taken care of, oral medication were administered on time, and most importantly she was great at reading their body language and giving them exactly the attention they needed! We couldn't have left our precious pups in better hands and she was so conscientious in feeding them, walking them, taking photos, and even administering medication. Honey is a very sensitive Jack Russell skittish around new people. OMGosh! Honey immediately Loved Madi:-) The pictures that Madi sent showed Honey playing and enjoying her time with Madi. We were able to relax and enjoy are time away. We look forward to using Madi's pet services soon.
Amanda is the perfect sitter. We felt so happy that our dogs were with her while we were gone. Our dogs were so happy the whole time and Amanda sent us plenty of photos. She even stopped by for an extra visit because we had a flight delay. Our one dog is a big, excitable Rhodesian Ridgeback but she had no problem handling him. We will never use anybody else in this area to watch our dogs.
Eleanor did an amazing job taking care of our cat Jax that is facing kidney issues. Jax requires multiple oral medicines as well as an IV injection daily, neither of which he is a fan of, but Eleanor was able to swaddle him, administer his medicines, and make it as painless as possible. Would definitely recommend.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
