About: Hey everyone! My name is Holbert. I’ve grown up around dogs of all sizes, from Yorkies and Shih Tzus to Saint Bernards, and I’m just as happy spending time with cats too. I’m a law student, but outside of school I really enjoy being around animals, getting to know their personalities, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m patient with shy or nervous pets, playful with the energetic ones, and I’ll probably send you way too many funny pictures while you’re gone. I’m also very respectful of your home and your pet’s routine, so you can feel comfortable knowing they’re in good hands 😊 My schedule is pretty structured during the week, with work on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 5 and classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 to 4. Fridays through the weekend, though, I have much more flexibility and can really dedicate my time to walks, drop ins, playtime, and hanging out with your pets. I also do my best to work pet care around my weekday schedule whenever possible, so your pet still gets the attention and consistency they need. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I try to keep things as comfortable and familiar for them as possible. I follow, feeding schedules, walking routines, house, rules, and any special instructions you leave for me, also making sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I’m patient with pets who need a little extra time to warm up, and I always pay attention to their personality and comfort level. In a client‘s home, I’m also very respectful of the space. I will always leave things clean and cared for, just as I found them, if not better.

About: I've had dogs , cats ,and every other type of pet my whole life. I am the pet sitter my family calls on when they are away. I love pets of all kind and I am eager to assist. “Christa was a life saver. I can never fully enjoy my vacations because I think about my little guys alone in a boarding facility. I have a special needs dachshund named Maui. She's paralyzed in her back end and needs her bladder manually expressed. Very few boarding facilities will accept her. Christa came to our home three times per day, loved on, played with and cared for our three dogs and our parrot. I've never come home from a trip and found my dogs so happy and relaxed and clean. About: I've lived with and cared for dogs for my entire life; I love all animals, big, small, young, old and anywhere in between, the more animals the better! I have experience with dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, and fish and I get along with all of them. I am available for early mornings and late nights as well as weekends. I am also familiar with and unphased by the less glamorous sides of pet care, I don't mind cleaning up after puppy accidents, I have some experience grooming our shaggier four legged friends, and I know how to administer most puppy medications. I am an extremely active person so there is no limit to much I will love and play with your pup, but I will also be patient and sensitive to nervous dog and cats. When im not pet sitting i like to take my own dog for hiking/ camping adventures! A typical day starts with breakfast and a nice romp around the yard, or brisque walk around the neighborhood so your dog can go potty and get out some morning energy. I have a flexible schedule at work so i can take frequent breaks to play and attend to your critters needs. In the evenings, im free again and i like to spend time being active, whether its a long walk, a game of fetch, or even an adventure to the park

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
