I grew up with my German Shepherd, Ace, since the start of high school. I helped train him, keep him active, and make adjustments for his special personality, like rationing time with balls because he loved them more than food. After Ace sadly passed away my mom got another German Shepherd, Ellie. I am currently helping watch and train her. She is the opposite of Ace in that she is not able to focus on anything sometimes even forgetting she was in the middle of trying to go to the bathroom. Working with both Ace and Ellie helps me appreciate how each dog has their own quirks that you need to adjust to and that make them the awesome dog that they are.
