“I needed someone to watch my dachshund for 3 days over a long weekend. I had no idea that 10 year old dachshund - who is a recent rescue - would receive so much more than just a place to stay. Linda did nothing short of transforming my dachshund from being dog reactive, to hanging out comfortably with her little pack. Linda knew exactly how to introduce my dog to hers, and build my dog’s confidence and socializing skills. I feel so optimistic now about my dog’s ability to learn to interact and have good manners. Linda is calm, patient, and has a spacious, clean house, and a charming garden area. Good vibes! She also upcycles cashmere sweaters into awesome doggie sweaters!”

“Thanks for a great experience dog sitting my two girls. Another dog sitter had fallen through and I needed to find someone reliable and I found Sylvia and I’m very glad that I did. Thank you for watching them with such short notice and going above and beyond take care of them and give them exercise, as well as taking them to your art gallery event and just including them. I feel like I would highly recommend Sylvia and I hope that I can have you watch the dogs again if we come back to Ashland”

We only needed her services for a few hours but she was very accommodating and went out of her way to find out everything she needed to know before we dropped our puppy off. About: I grew up working at my family’s dog grooming shop. I have seen many breeds and personalities in high stress situations. I have volunteered at the humane society and have taken behavioral dog classes. I have spent years working on my relationship with dogs and understanding them and myself. I’m currently taking a break from the regular 9-5. I am very communicative about my availability. I am also pretty open due to not working. My daily and weekly routine is mostly based on your needs. I have a dog and cat in my house so I prefer pets who are socialized if they are coming to my home. I would give the pet their food to your schedule and amount. I am able and good at helping to administer medications, if needed. I can take them on walks. I’m pretty flexible with adapting to whatever is needed.

About: I truly love and care about pets. I will keep an eye out for health issues and make sure your pet is safe and happy. Pets are my life. I have an empty nest so I very much enjoy spending as much time as possible with pets. I love animals very much. I care for every animal as if it were my own. I believe animals should be shown love and kindness. I keep an eye out for any health issues and let the owners know if there are any problems.

“Kari took excellent care of our Boo Boo and sent lots of pictures and updates which was nice. It was so wonderful to know Boo Boo was in great hands while we were out river rafting for the day. I would absolutely have her dog sit again if we are I’m the area again.”

About: I started my first pet sitting business when I was just around 7-8 years old. I used to pet sit out here in the same area of Ruch. I grew up out here. As an adult now, with many of my own animals, I am now offering my services again. I rarely go anywhere because I do not like being away from home and my animals. I'm almost always available and close by (servicing only Ruch). I grew up with, and took care of, many kinds of animals; horses, donkeys, goats, dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, rabbits, etc. Being around animals gives me life and I love to help make animals feel special while their humans are away. It's already stressful for them, and for you too, so make it easier with someone who talks to them and makes sure that they feel special. I live at home with my hubby and he adored by every animal that meets him. He even stole my main doggy daycare client! Know when animals are here, they're cherished by both of us. I have my own small businesses that I can work on anytime I feel like it from home, which gives me great flexibility. I am available to take care of critters in the Ruch area almost any day, minus some appointments that I have sometimes. When I'm not here, hubby is here to watch them. In my home: To protect my own cats and dogs, I need to ensure that your dog is friendly with my animals, vaccinated, and protected from fleas and ticks. Outside is fenced in with no climb fencing and acreage for roaming around our house, they get to let me know when they want to go outside, or come inside. My dogs knock on the door and tell me what they want (in or out). I'm sure they will teach your dog to do the same. When inside, we read, nap, cuddle on the couch, floor, in front of the wood stove, or in a crate if your dog desires. Outside, there are a couple of acres to run and explore. I spend all day tending to my dogs and can do this for yours too.

“Danijela was great! We were visiting Medford and needed someone to look after our doodle when we went skiing. She was quick to respond to my questions and friendly. I’d be happy to use her again!”

About: Dogs have always been part of my life, we always had a family dog or three growing up. After college I adopted a rescue into my own family. Our current dog Poppy was rescued at 6 months old, and just turned 9 years old. She's been professionally trained in truffle hunting. I'm a retired safety engineer and run a bed and breakfast on our property. This allows me take care of the dogs and the property all day long. We live on a few acres with our rescue dog Poppy. There is a fenced area where the dogs can play safely outside. There's also a large deck that the dogs love watching the wildlife from. I only accept up to two other dogs at a time so it's a quiet and relaxing setting in the country.

About: Ever since I was little I’ve helped out with the care of my own family pets and our neighbors and friends as well. I have always LOVED animals and I’ve never found a cat or dog that doesn’t like me. In my past I’ve been in charge of walking and exercising dogs, feeding and watering dogs, and providing an abundance of love! As of now I just graduated college and spent a month abroad in Europe. I am looking for part time work and my schedule is completely open (: I live in an all adult household on 6 acres of land. There are fenced areas where your animal could roam safety, and in the non fenced areas, I’m happy to keep your fur baby on leash and prevent any accidents. I will accommodate to anything your pet needs while they stay with me!

About: I have had a love for all animals since I was a little girl. I have either had a pet to care for or have been watching friends pets whenever the opportunity arises. I am a stay at home mom. I am available to check in on animals throughout the day or even take them for a walk! I like to make sure your pet is happy and taken care of whenever you are away. I want to make sure they have what they need.

About: I’m slow and kind and gentle. I’m thorough & love to connect deeply with animals. I believe pets are the heart of our home & deserve to be treated as such! I’m flexible as i work online! I make my own schedule. I’m a small business owner. I love pets and it’s easy for me to fit them in! They will be treated like family! We will enjoy each others company and love while you’re away. If you have any special requests please let me know!
