About: I have had a love for all animals since I was a little girl. I have either had a pet to care for or have been watching friends pets whenever the opportunity arises. I am a stay at home mom. I am available to check in on animals throughout the day or even take them for a walk! I like to make sure your pet is happy and taken care of whenever you are away. I want to make sure they have what they need.
About: I’ve had cats and dogs for the past 30 plus years. I’ve walked them, bathed them, made their food, cared for them when sick and loved them. I have a lovely, safe walking neighborhood for dogs, a fenced yard, and everything I would need for a dog to have a cozy stay with me. I currently work 100% remote and have time during the day for walks and playtime. I have dog beds for nap time and toys for them to play with. I also own several leashes. I have a fenced yard that’s very safe. I don’t plan on watching more than one dog at a time. That way I can devote all my time to the one who’s staying with me.

About: I love dogs! i Have adopted many older dogs, and raised a few from puppy stage. Love them all. I spoil them and give them lots of pets, and love. About: Grew up w/ small dogs and cats! All have been my favorite.😫 From bottle feeding week-old kittens to park-day trips, administering medication and probiotics. Baths for the pups are no problem, too! I am free twice a day at minimum for daily drops ins with optional extended bonding and play time, as well as weekend house sitting where your fur baby will be attended to for the remainder of the night! 🐾🐈🫶🏼 I use a baby gate as a “keep-out” tool if needed to be utilized in a specific area of your home. A provided crate for dogs that are destructive when left alone or in general would be appreciated!
About: I grew up around all kinds of animals and even had up to 7 dogs at one point in my childhood home! I’ve always loved having pets and I even used to pet sit for neighbors frequently. I’m currently not working so I’m able to pet sit Monday-Sunday! I’m open to following specific routines that you have for your pet. I’m also available to do overnights if needed :) I do have a fenced in yard where I can supervise your pet. I currently have no personal pets of my own. About: We had a family dog from the time I was a toddler. The first dog was a Doberman, then the next family dog was a Springer Spaniel. My family also volunteered as puppy raisers with Guide Dogs for the Blind and we raised 5 guide dog puppies. One flunked out of guide dog school and came back to live with us until she was 13. Later, I volunteered with Guiding Eyes for the Blind and helped puppy raisers with their new puppies, and weekly helped teach the classes from 12 weeks when the puppies first arrive to their puppy raiser homes, up to 18 months when they leave their puppy raisers the puppies get trained before they go back in for their formal under harness training for their blind person. All 9 years of work there we used positive reinforcement with the dogs and helped the puppy raisers. I also attended some classes with Guiding Eyes on dog body language. I also have my own rescue dog who I adopted during that time and he has had positive reinforcement training since I adopted him. I now assist owners with training or behavioral needs they may have for their dogs to make the owners and the dogs happier and more peaceful living. I also have added a list of other services, from boarding in my home, to house sitting in yours, dog walking, drop in visits, or daycare in my house. I am working from home and available basically all the time, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and over weekends as well. Days: M, T, W, T, F, S, S I don’t have kids or cats. Just me and my one 10 year old personal dog are in the house. I live in a condo and don’t have a backyard, but I have always walked my dog in the neighborhood and gone to hike at Lake Chabot which is only a 12 minute drive or at Oakland hills parks.
About: I adopted my dog from a rescue 13 years ago and have fostered (in my home) over 50 dogs since then. My dogs( I have two medium sized dogs) (and any fosters or fur friends we have over) enjoy frequent walks, hikes, and dog park trips. My pups (and the pups that were allowed to), sleep in the bed with me and get maximum cuddle and play time! I myself stay pretty active so enjoy the walk time. I live in an apartment but we have frequent walks. I have my two pups to keep yours company. My dogs are not crated but it’s okay if yours are. I allow any and all fur babies to sleep in my room and on the bed if they want.
About: I have have multiple years of caring for people's pets. I was a professional housekeeper with my own business for over 20 years and also cared for their animals when they were away. I have been a long time pet owner myself and recently my fur babies passed away. I am looking to earn a little extra income as a senior while enjoying the company of animals. About: My background in animal care extends well beyond traditional pet sitting. I completed extensive veterinary technology education while working full-time in a large, multi-department veterinary hospital, gaining years of hands-on experience with animals ranging from healthy puppies and routine-care patients to senior, hospitalized, post-op, and medically complex dogs. My subsequent transition into “human” healthcare has further strengthened the attention to detail and standard of care that I bring to every animal entrusted to me. My veterinary experience provided a comprehensive foundation in safe animal handling, canine behavior/temperament recognition, medication administration, medical-condition awareness, post-op care, and the identification of subtle changes that may indicate pain, anxiety, or physical distress. I am comfortable recognizing changes in behavior and overall presentation that may warrant closer observation or communication with a pet-parent. I am comfortable caring for dogs across all ages, sizes, and levels of need, including puppies, senior dogs, animals requiring additional behavioral consideration, and pets with established medical or mobility needs. My experience includes oral and injectable medication administration, incision and wound care, mobility assistance, post-operative monitoring, and incontinence-related care. Between my husband and me, our dogs are never left home without one of us present, and I maintain that same standard of supervision for pets entrusted to my care. I would not leave a pet unattended while I am responsible for their care. We have a fully fenced backyard and maintain a clean, organized, and uncluttered home and outdoor environment. With a five-month-old puppy of our own, our home is consistently kept pet-safe, with unsafe or inappropriate items secured and inaccessible. I am also careful and deliberate when managing interactions between animals and never assume unfamiliar dogs can simply be left together unsupervised. Introductions, outdoor access, feeding, and shared spaces are appropriately supervised, with the safety and comfort of each individual pet remaining the priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain the same standard of supervision, respect for their environment, and attention to safety.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
