About: I grew up with pet dogs. I've since become a "cat lady" but continue to love dogs. Out on neighborhood walks I have to stop and pet every dog and cat I meet! There's nothing like a bright dog face and and a wagging tail or a cat purring and rubbing against my legs! I'm recently retired and have lots of time to spend taking care of your pets. I'm available weekdays and weekends, daytime and evenings, and holidays. I'm flexible and open to hearing about your pet sitting scheduling needs. I grew up with dogs, but now I'm a cat lady who loves and pampers my little boy, Mr. Kitty. I prepare special food for him, give him lots of attention, and take him for long walks in his cat stroller. I'm an energetic and responsible recently retired hospice nurse. About: Growing up, animals weren’t just pets in our home — they were family. I’ve spent my whole life caring for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, rats, snakes, lizards, pigs, and backyard birds like turkeys, chickens, ducks, and quail. My mom worked as a wildlife rehabilitator, so from a young age I helped nurse injured and orphaned wild animals back to health — including squirrels, rabbits, beavers, opossums, raccoons, and turtles. That experience taught me how to stay calm, patient, and attentive with animals of all temperaments and needs. Our family currently has two dogs and I have my own pet rats, so I’m an active, hands-on pet owner every single day. Sadly, I lost my own beloved dog last year, and that experience only deepened my understanding of just how much our pets mean to us. In Your Home When caring for your pet in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I’ll follow your feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any specific rules or preferences you have for your pet. I believe pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I make sure to give plenty of love, playtime, and attention while you’re away. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you always know how your fur baby is doing! Dog Walking Every dog is different, so I tailor each walk to your pup’s personality, energy level, and needs. Whether they love a brisk adventure or prefer a leisurely sniff-filled stroll, we’ll have a great time! I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I always keep safety a top priority. After the walk, you’ll receive an update so you know your pup had a wonderful time.

About: I’ve grown up alongside dogs and other animals and helped take care of them since I was young. When I was sixteen, my family adopted our puppy Sal at eight weeks old, and it was my responsibility to take care of him, train him, and love on him. From there, I volunteered at Almost Home animal shelter in Van Buren for two years, where I walked dogs of all sizes and weights, played with them, fed and cared for them, and cleaned out their kennels and bowls. As of now, I’m living away from my family dog since I’m in college, but I’m helping a friend of mine walk and train her newly adopted Cane Corso (she’s a sweetie). I’ve watched dogs for friends and family all through the years, as well. As far as cats go, I’ve loved them since I was a kid, and I adopted one two years ago! His name is Walter, he’s a tabby and the sweetest boy alive, and I love taking care of him, even if he shreds my arms sometimes. Pets need love and patience, and that’s exactly what I have for them. :) I’m currently out of college classes for the summer, so my schedule is very flexible! I can work with any requests you send me, so long as we have ample time to discuss everything you’re looking for. I can easily adapt to your pet’s regular schedule, including mealtimes, bedtime, medication, if they need to be crated, playtimes, etc. The comfort and happiness of your pet is my first focus.

About: I grew up in Texas with two dogs and two cats. And I’ve had my currently dog, Theo, since he was 5 weeks old. And I also have experience with an elderly dog with diabetes needs. I am in grad school as well as a research assistant. I make my own hours making my schedule flexible. I’m excited to meet new pets. I will keep your space clean and allow your pet the most comfortable experience I can I am in grad school and a research assistant. I have class MWF 9-10 am. Then TTh 11-12:15 &2-3:15. I create my own hours for research. So otherwise I am normally flexible on time! I love going on walks with dogs, time/distance depending on breed and age. Every dog is different but playtime and enrichment are very important in our home so I’ll do what I can to incorporate that in their lives as well! Same with cats, depending on comfortability!

About: I grew up in a family where our dogs (specifically Labradors) were equal members of the family, and spending time with them is a treasured part of my childhood memories. I grew up around dog care, and while every pup is different, the basics of dog care are intuitive for me. As an adult I am the proud “parent” of two lively, playful cats, who have taught me to expand my pet care knowledge and skills. I do commute to northeastern Oklahoma and back each weekday for work, but I can always plan around early morning visits or nighttime visits (after 7pm). Weekends are much more flexible for me. Regardless of the day or time, visiting with your pet is the best part of my day! It is my policy to treat your pets with the same care, respect, and love as I treat my own. I ensure to carefully uphold any routines or regimens that you establish for your pet with an interest to maintaining a sense of stability and normalcy for them in your absence. I understand that all pets are different, and I will respect your pet’s demonstrated comfort levels in getting to know each other. I am a guest in your home and will behave as such, treating your belongings with the respect and privacy they deserve. As far as pet safety goes, I believe in over-communicating rather than under-communicating, so you can rest assured you will hear from me if anything seems amiss.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was 10. Mine have been raised being treated like little humans and I cant wait to treat yours the exact same. I have cared for special needs dogs, puppies, and seniors. I have a special place in my heart for animals, and absolutely understand the want for a sitter that will love on your babies as much as you do! I am currently available almost all day everyday, and most weekends. On the occasion that I have errands to run, I am more than happy to take your love bug with me if they don’t like to stay home alone! I have two fur babies for your pets to hangout with (if he/she does good with other dogs)!One is big, one is small, and they are both inside dogs! We take them outside to play ball through the day and on plenty of walks! I have a fenced yard and walking paths all through my neighborhood! My parents live close, and my dogs love them just as much, so if your pets prefer to be by themselves that’s totally doable!! I’m pretty flexible, so I can give them as much or as little exercise as needed! If you’d prefer me be at your home, that’s perfectly fine as well!

I have worked professionally with dogs at a doggy daycare, as well as cared for my family’s much-loved special needs labrador for many years. I’m also a cat parent and I have experience watching other people’s cats since I was young. I love all pets, large or small, old or young (I have a soft spot for little senior pets), and I’d be honored to spend time with yours! I have flexibility with my schedule. I’m typically unavailable Tuesdays from 1-4pm. I try my best to keep my calendar updated but feel free to ask if you have any questions!
