8. Miranda G.
About: My husband (Joey) and I work as a team and specialize in canine care. We have a soft spot in our hearts for rescued, especially. My husband and I own four of our own, including a sweet special needs guy who needs a cart to walk around in. We understand that each dog is unique and love figuring out how to best make them feel comfortable. For example, two of our other dogs have anxiety that manifests differently, and we’ve had to work to figure out ways to meet their needs. I have been able to translate the work that I do regularly in Applied Behavior Analysis as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to life with my pets. Joey now works from home, primarily, but previously had two years of experience working at a vet clinic and as a dog trainer. We kindly ask that all perspective pets that we watch are up to date on vaccinations, have a collar on with a tag or are microchipped, and are on flea and tick prevention. Joey currently works from home Mondays and Fridays, which fortunately gives him flexibility to spend time with the dogs and let them out/play as needed. He can also use his lunch break to do visits or dog walks. We are both off work on weekends. I have a fenced yard, and four friendly dogs to play with yours! I have experience crate training if needed, but will work with whatever your preferences are to make you and your pup as comfortable as possible.

9. Tyler Y.
“I have known Tyler Young for about 6 years. I have observed him provide daily care and affection to dogs and cats; and provide nurturing care to terminally ill dogs with utmost kindness. I am convinced of his integrity, responsibility, and respect for others property. I have witnessed him intervene and prevent potential confrontations with other dogs while walking his own dogs. I believe without reservation that Tyler would be a valuable asset to Rover.com.”

10. William R.
“Will has always enjoyed responsibility and cares for job jobs that he completes. Last year he spent time working at a dog shelter and really enjoyed his time caring and looking after dogs so a job like this would be something that he is very good at. When he was in high school he spent time watching after neighbors dogs when they were out of town and he was very good at the task of taking care of dogs so I can see where this would be a good fit for him.”

11. Sara S.

“Sara took excellent care of my cats and my home. She was quick to respond to communications. She sent photos. My house is in great shape and my cats are happy! I 100% recommend Sara.”

12. Janna M.

“Janna took great care of our kitty while we were out of town and sent us the cutest pics! He was in good spirits and very well cared for when we returned.”

13. Rachel P.

“Rachel was a life saver and did an amazing job checking in on our two cats while we were away! She was so great with communication and even though our cats are skittish she was so sweet and patient with them. We highly recommend her and would hire her again in a heartbeat!”

14. Meagan P.
About: Ever since I was a kid I we had some kind of animal. Whether it be dog, cat, rabbit, fish, snake. Anything under the sun really. I love being around animals so why not do something I love I'm not currently working so I have all the time in the world to care for an animal whether it's pet sitting, taking a walk or simply feeding them. I care for pets by making sure their physical and emotional needs are fully met. This includes feeding them on a consistent schedule, ensuring they have fresh water, providing exercise and playtime suited to their energy levels, and giving them plenty of affection and attention. I also follow any specific instructions from the pet owner regarding diet, medications, routines, or behavior training. In both my home and clients' homes, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for the pets

15. Madelynn S.

“Madelynn did a great job of taking care of my cat!!! She was very attentive and gave me very detailed updates with pictures. I recommend her to anyone in need of a cat sitter!”

16. April H.

“April was so amazing! Such a kind soul, thank you for everything!”

17. Rico L.

“Rico was an amazing sitter for our cat! We were wary to use Rover again after a bad first experience but he was extremely kind, reassuring, and communicated with me while we were gone about my cat’s automatic feeder that ended up breaking. We will definitely be using him again in the future!”

18. Clare U.

“Clare went above and beyond for my crew of cats and chickens! I never had to worry about their care at all. She was an extremely thorough and consistent communicator. She always left a detailed report with tons of pictures. Not only did she complete the chores, but she went out of her way to spend a lot of quality time with them. She took the extra time to earn the trust of my shyest cat and also gave enrichment opportunities to my chickens. She even agreed to take on the job with short notice. I’m really thankful for everything she did and would recommend her in a heartbeat.”

19. Ashlee C.

“My kitty loved her. She always sent photos and updates on how my cat was doing. Very kind and friendly experience :). Definitely would use her services again!”

20. Kellie G.
About: Hi, I’m Kellie! I’ve cared for animals my whole life—from beloved family dogs to backyard chickens to barn cats. I currently have a small backyard chicken farm, a big, gentle livestock guardian dog, Mellow, and two indoor pups: Gin, a calm, senior Boxer mix, and Babs, a bouncy and hilarious 1-year-old Chihuahua mix. They’re all well trained, social, and love making new friends—Gin brings the chill energy and Babs brings the zoomies! I offer boarding, house sitting, drop-ins, walks, and daycare. While I specialize in dogs at my home, I’m happy to drop in for cats or small animals too. I’ve fostered multiple dogs over the years, including rescues with special needs, seniors, and shy pups needing time to adjust. I’m patient, calm, and experienced in helping animals feel safe, secure, and loved. I also have a background in farm animal care and can handle feeding routines, medications, and animals with a variety of temperaments or quirks. Whether it's a puppy who needs structure, a senior dog who needs extra care, or a cat who prefers to be left alone—I respect their pace and their comfort. I keep a peaceful, structured routine and I work from home so your pets will have the attention they deserve. I’ll treat them like family—whether it’s belly rubs, bedtime routines, outdoor play, or quiet companionship while you’re away. Let me know how I can help you (and your pets) feel at ease while you’re apart. I can’t wait to meet them! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and live on a small backyard farm. I’m up early, I take regular breaks throughout the day to care for animals, and I’m home most evenings and nights. That means your pets will get plenty of attention, outdoor time, and consistency. Whether it’s daily drop-ins or overnight boarding, I’m able to keep a calm, reliable rhythm for them while you’re away. I take safety seriously—whether your pet is in my home or I’m visiting yours. At my home, pets are introduced slowly and supervised during interactions with my friendly dogs. I never leave pets unsupervised together until I know they’re fully comfortable. I maintain clean spaces, fresh water, and a structured but calm environment with lots of cuddles and quiet time. I follow feeding instructions closely and can administer oral meds if needed. In your home, I’m respectful, tidy, and detail-oriented. I stick to your pet’s routine as closely as possible and provide updates so you feel connected while you’re away. I treat every animal like my own—and every home with the same care I’d want for mine.
