Availability
This is my full time profession. I am available 7 days a week although hours are limited on Sundays. Flexibility is important as I have an established client base with recurring daily appointments. I may be able to accept some same day requests based on my current schedule. General working hours are 8am-8pm Monday-Saturday. Sundays vary. Inclement Weather Policy: If Farmington Public Schools and/or City Hall are canceled due to weather conditions, I will not be providing services.

I’d like to know your pet’s regular day-to-day routines. I prefer to stick to what pets are familiar with as much as possible as it makes for the smoothest transitions and least stressful environment for us both! IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTIFY ME OF ANY DIETARY RESTRICTIONS BEFORE THE FIRST VISIT AS I HAVE VARIOUS TREATS WITH ME AT ALL TIMES. A list of helpful items to have ready for my visits: Collar/leash/harness with poop bags Favorite toy(s) Water/bowl Bowl/scoop/bagged food with feeding instructions if not listed on pet profile Bowl/canned food/spoon/can opener (if necessary) Treats Medications with clear administering instructions Paper towels & cleaner for any messes Towel(s) for rainy or water play days Please inform me of the method you'd like me to use to enter your home such as garage door code, front door code, spare key, etc. Take into consideration possible power outages or dead keypad batteries and have a backup plan in place for such a situation.
A typical day
I love to take pups for walks where I talk to them about all we see, hear, and smell but not taste! I also love to play fetch, tug, etc. in backyards. But I'm just as happy giving some belly rubs for those who don't enjoy walks/outdoor play or if it's not possible for whatever reason. I will not go for a walk if lightning is close, but rain won't stop us from having fun! For safety reasons, I prefer to go for walks during daylight hours. Short potty breaks are the exception. With the kitties, we can play with lasers, balls/bells, ribbons, etc. and also do pets and shin rubs!

I have been blessed to have animals since I was a young child. I’ve had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, birds, you name it! I have over 25 years of first-hand experience with dogs from Great Danes to Rottweilers to Chihuahuas as well as cats. I’m very comfortable around all breeds and display the same disposition with each. I’ve participated in dog training with my own pit bull terrier and continue to use those learned techniques to achieved desired behaviors. I’ve also potty trained and administered medications regularly. I treat all animals as if they are my own by always showing an abundance of love, compassion, patience, and respect.
