In Your Home When caring for your pet in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I’ll follow your feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any specific rules or preferences you have for your pet. I believe pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I make sure to give plenty of love, playtime, and attention while you’re away. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you always know how your fur baby is doing! Dog Walking Every dog is different, so I tailor each walk to your pup’s personality, energy level, and needs. Whether they love a brisk adventure or prefer a leisurely sniff-filled stroll, we’ll have a great time! I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I always keep safety a top priority. After the walk, you’ll receive an update so you know your pup had a wonderful time.

Before any visit or walk, I love to do a quick meet-and-greet so your pet and I can get comfortable with each other! Getting to know your pet beforehand makes everything go smoother and helps me give them the best care possible. Here’s what I like to know ahead of time: The Basics ∙ Feeding schedule, portions, and any dietary restrictions or allergies ∙ Medication needs, dosages, and how to administer them ∙ Vet contact information and your preferred emergency animal hospital Personality & Behavior ∙ Are they shy, anxious, or nervous around strangers? ∙ Any triggers — loud noises, other dogs, strangers, certain situations? ∙ How do they do on a leash? Do they pull, lunge, or need a specific harness? ∙ Are they friendly with other animals and people? Routine & Preferences ∙ Their normal daily routine and schedule ∙ Favorite toys, games, and how they like to play ∙ Any places they love or should avoid on walks ∙ Where they sleep and any house rules Health & Safety ∙ Any recent illnesses, injuries, or conditions I should be aware of ∙ Are they up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention? ∙ Any history of escaping, bolting, or running off? Your pet’s safety and comfort is always my top priority, and the more I know upfront the better experience we’ll all have! 🐾
A typical day
Your pet won’t just be watched — they’ll be entertained! I love getting outside and being active with dogs, so expect plenty of fetch, outdoor exploration, and adventure on our walks and play sessions. I let each dog lead the way based on their personality — some want to run and chase, others want to sniff every blade of grass, and both are totally fine with me! For dogs who love to play, I’ll make sure they get good exercise and stimulation so they’re happy and tired by the time you get home. 🐾 Throughout every visit and walk, I’ll send you photos and updates so you can see exactly how much fun your pup is having. There’s nothing better than getting a cute photo of your dog mid-fetch while you’re at work — and I love taking them! For pets staying at home, I make sure playtime fits their needs — whether that’s active outdoor time or calm, cozy companionship. Every pet deserves to feel loved and stimulated, and I make that my mission on every visit. 🐶

Grew Up With Every Pet Imaginable!
Pet care experience
Growing up, animals weren’t just pets in our home — they were family. I’ve spent my whole life caring for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, rats, snakes, lizards, pigs, and backyard birds like turkeys, chickens, ducks, and quail. My mom worked as a wildlife rehabilitator, so from a young age I helped nurse injured and orphaned wild animals back to health — including squirrels, rabbits, beavers, opossums, raccoons, and turtles. That experience taught me how to stay calm, patient, and attentive with animals of all temperaments and needs. Our family currently has two dogs and I have my own pet rats, so I’m an active, hands-on pet owner every single day. Sadly, I lost my own beloved dog last year, and that experience only deepened my understanding of just how much our pets mean to us. Whether your pup needs a fun, energetic walk or a calm, caring sitter while you’re away, I will treat them with the same love and attention I give my own animals. Your pet is in experienced, compassionate hands! 🐾
