About: We have had our own dog for 7 years and have taken care of other family members dogs while they are away! We love have another pet in the home that we can interact with by playing fetch, going for walks, belly rubs, snuggles, and extra treat giving. Our beagle loves playing with other dogs as well! In the summer I am off so I am home daily. During the school year, I am at work Monday through Friday 7-4 and home on the weekends. We don’t have a fenced in backyard, but have an invisible fence for our dog. When watching other dogs we make sure we are outside with them so they don’t run off. When gone, we gate our dog in the kitchen area that has her bed along with food and water. Don’t need to be crate trained.

“I was so happy with the care provided for my dog while he stayed 9 days with Donald!! Donald sent me regular updates on how Bernie was doing as well as pictures and videos! It had been 3 years since we were away for this long and I felt so at ease knowing he was not only well taken care of but also having so much fun with the other dogs!! The set up Donald has in his home is really quite perfect! I really prefer this type of boarding to a traditional kennel. I could tell Bernie was happy, healthy, and not at all stressed out when I came to pick him up! Thanks again Donald, Izzy, and Riley for taking such good care of my baby!”

“Sadie, a yellow Labrador husky dog, got to spend some quality time with people and came back happy and content, & slept as soundly as I have ever seen. Crystal (the dog-sitter) said Sadie did well with the children and left the infants alone, so that went well. I was grateful Crystal allowed the dog to interact with the kids and even come into the house. I wasn't quite sure whether Sadie would behave. She did grab items off shelves, a habit I am trying to bring under control, but the dog interacted normally with the people in the house and that went very well. I was very grateful to have found a good home where Sadie felt comfortable staying. The dog-boarding went even better than I had expected! I really appreciate Crystal's kind and caring attitude toward the dog-boarding and will definitely look her up for Sadie the next time I need to find Sadie a place to stay.”
