About: When I was around 5 years old, apparently I would find pictures in books or on my mom’s desktop of cats and would BEG my parents for a cat. All I did all day was look at pictures of cats, but then my dad brought home Rambo. He is my 13 year old baby who I have absolutely adored ever since I first saw him. Since I was little, the first thing I would do at someone’s house I hadn’t been to before was to ask if there were any cats around—I haven’t changed… I feel like I can get cats to like me, even if their owner says they’re mean, I don’t believe in that. We are an active household that enjoys many days outside, but also equally loves cuddling up on the couch for a movie night. At night, your pet is welcome to sleep wherever they find it most comfortable. We have had personal pet ownership experience with blindness, deafness, and separation anxiety in dogs. In addition to our own pets, we have also opened our home to foster dogs for several years, specializing and dog reactive dogs, as well as hospice/end of life care. My career consists of over a decade of hospital-based pharmacy experience, and I am now fortunate to currently work from home. With my career and volunteer dog hospice foster experience, I am comfortable and knowledgeable in administering any oral, subcutaneous, and IM medications. - We provide care to one outside family at a time to ensure a stress-free experience for everyone. I do allow exemptions for multifamily households. - Your pet will have an adult with them for at least 20/24 hours per day. Most updates are sent with morning breakfast, midafternoon rest, and before bedtime. About: I have fostered both dogs and cats in the past. From childhood to the present day, a home is not complete without some form of animal companion. I tend to be an early riser and am very flexible. Cleaning up after myself as well as your pets is my specialty. I enjoy camping and antiquing when there’s no critters to hang out with. I am familiar with many types of leash and collar. I prefer to keep a dog heeled on most of the walk, letting them run and play when it’s appropriate to do so. If you have a preferred method of control I’m happy to accommodate. I’m comfortable giving meds and have experience with all kinds of feeding. When sitting, I’d love to water your plants and get the mail-any little extras that you need. I often take my dad shopping or to doctor’s appointments, and set my own schedule with my other jobs. How long your pets can be left alone (if at all) is up to you! I’m great at following orders, especially written instructions; please tell me how you usually handle your pets so I can keep it consistent for them! I like to go for walks, and like it even more if I have company. I also always enjoy a good snuggle.

Our acreage is unfenced, and dogs have access to the backyard of the property. If your dog is not off-leash trained, we provide a pulley tie-out to allow them a greater range of access. If you are most comfortable with leash walking, that is also just fine with us!
About: I can provide a safe quiet home for your pet to visit when you’re away. I work from home and spend the days with our almost 8 year old boxer mix, Aggie. We love taking walks to the park near our home and we have a small fenced in back yard with a privacy fence. Aggie gets along with almost every dog and will sometimes play. She can be pretty vocal when she plays but is otherwise super quiet. She’s a great role model for younger dogs :) I work from home so I am usually home with the pets for most of the day. We take daily walks when the weather is good. We have a large dog crate if your dog needs. Our yard is fenced in and dogs wouldn’t usually be home alone for more than a few hours.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life! I grew up on a large animal farm where we had bison for 20 years. I went to college at msu Mankato for animal science. In 2016 I started working at a boarding kennel and ever since I have found my life passion of working with dogs and cats. I have 4 dogs of my own on a hobby farm. Potty breaks a few extra times for your little fur baby, especially if they are right in the middle of training process my yard is not fenced in but it’s not too small and there’s enough space for a long yard leash to have outside time and my neighbors are very respectful, they are already used to my dog, so there won’t be any issues there. I will come to your residence to check on them or visit them. I have NO criminal background and I know how extremely imperative it is that your home is respected and cared for. Everything will be exactly as it was when you left it and I will make sure your place is locked down safely and your little fur baby is managed before I leave. I want you to feel at ease knowing everything is being well watched while you can’t be there! I am up 6am-10p everyday for my own family, I would love to invite yours to visit when your away! My children are ages 4-9 and they absolutely LOVE all kinds of animals! They are very well educated in the proper ways to behave around animals and how to handle dogs with extreme care.
