About: I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes—from dogs and cats to even raising pigs! This lifelong exposure has given me a deep understanding of animal behavior, routines, and needs. I know how important it is for dogs to get regular exercise, consistent structure, and plenty of love. Whether your pup needs high-energy playtime, long walks, or just a calm companion to keep them company, I treat every pet like a member of my own family As an online graduate student and mom, I manage my own schedule and have incredible flexibility throughout the day. Because I study from home, my routine is highly adaptable, allowing me to easily step away for frequent dog walking, potty breaks, and mid-day play sessions. I can structure my mornings, afternoons, or evenings around your pet's specific routine to ensure they get consistent care and attention. Safety and clear communication are my top priorities. When caring for your dog on walks or during drop-ins, I provide a highly responsible, focused, and nurturing environment. I am incredibly detail-oriented, respectful of your home, and strictly adhere to any specific training, feeding, or safety guidelines you provide. You can count on regular updates and total peace of mind!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember, and they’ve always held a special place in my heart. As a dog owner myself, I understand that our pets aren’t “just dogs”—they’re family. They’re there for us through life’s best moments and its toughest ones, offering unconditional love and companionship. That’s why I treat every dog in my care with the same patience, kindness, and attention I’d want for my own. Your pup’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, administering a consistent routine, brushing, bathing, or simply providing plenty of love and companionship, I’m committed to making sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend and provide a loving, dependable home away from home! As a registered nurse, providing compassionate, dependable care is a part of who I am—and I bring that same level of dedication to every pet I look after. My nursing schedule gives me four days off each week, allowing me plenty of flexibility to provide attentive, personalized care for your furry family member. Whether your pup needs quick potty breaks every few hours, daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, or full-time care in the comfort of your home, I’m happy to accommodate your needs whenever my schedule allows. I understand how important routine is for dogs, and I strive to keep them comfortable, active, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible by providing reliable care, lots of affection, and regular photo and video updates so you always know your best friend is in great hands. While I’m unable to board pets in my own home at this time, I provide exceptional in-home pet care so your dog can stay happy and comfortable in the place they know best—their own home. As both a registered nurse and lifelong dog lover, I understand that trust is everything when inviting someone into your home and caring for a beloved family member. I pride myself on being dependable, honest, respectful, and attentive to every detail. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my highest priorities, and I’ll care for your home with the same respect and responsibility as if it were my own. By keeping your pet in their familiar environment, they can maintain their normal routine, reducing stress and helping them feel secure while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, meals, playtime, cuddle sessions, medications, or simply keeping them company, I’ll provide personalized care tailored to their needs. My goal is simple: for you to return home to a happy, healthy pup and a home that’s just as you left it. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your furry family member is safe, loved, and in caring hands.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, from small breeds to large ones, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’m patient, dependable, and truly understand the commitment it takes to provide quality care. I have a senior German Shepherd, so I’m experienced with the extra time, gentleness, and attention older dogs need. I also have another German Shepherd with an autoimmune eye condition, which has given me firsthand experience managing strict daily medication routines and specialized care. You can trust that your pet will be treated with the same love, patience, and responsibility I give my own. I’m currently seeking additional employment opportunities, which allows me to maintain a very flexible schedule. Because of this, I’m able to prioritize pet care and work around your specific needs. Whether you need early mornings, evenings, weekends, or last-minute bookings, I’m happy to accommodate your schedule as best as possible. I personally prefer to provide care in my client’s home, as it helps ensure minimal stress to your pet’s routine. About: I grew up with 2 cats and 2 dogs. I have raised all my cats from 8 weeks as kittens! I love working with pets and getting them outside. As well as working on any training and specific phrases you and your pets may use! I’m currently a nursing student at NAU looking for part time work while I continue working on my studies. I am available surrounding my class times and love to go out for walks and hang out with animals when I am free to reconnect and ground myself to the world outside of nursing school. I have been babysitting and house sitting for 10 years. I am a very clean person and believe everyone should come home to a clean house with peace of mind knowing both their homes and pets have been taken care of. The same way I would want my house and kitten to be taken care of, I will treat and love your pets as my own!

About: I grew up with dogs and I've been taking care of my guy Chewy for almost 5 years now. I've had him since he was a puppy. I have used Chewy to help socialize a few different dogs and he loves meeting new animals and people. I'll treat every dog like they're my own and could always use another dog to go run with or just walk around. I currently dog sit another puppy and his dad on a semi regular basis and enjoy every time they're over. I'm currently back in school and enjoy any excuse to get away from homework and go walk outside. Me and Chewy go on a walk or run every morning but my schedule is flexible enough to adjust if other dogs are needed. Also I can take my guy out in the morning if your doge prefers or needs solo walks. I have 1 dog in my apartment. He's very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. Though he gets the hint if other dogs don't want him around. The apartment has a very large area to let dogs out that surrounds half the complex. The furniture is open to sit on and there are a few toys around to play with. Will be given access to entire apartment.

Nathan was great! We needed someone to look in on and walk our dog on short notice while we visited from out of state. My dog warmed up to him right away (which never happens), so I felt comfortable too. Nathan was coming home from a walk with Alfie when we got home, so I was able to see how much Alfie likes him. I would definitely recommend Nathan’s services, even for shy dogs like mine.

Lol I love animals and have a sweet German Shepherd puppy of my own. I have always lived with dogs and love to be around them. I use positive reinforcement and help the dogs stay active in a positive way. I love to play and take walks with dogs, as well as reward with treats. I have always lived with large dog breeds ( German Shepherd, Rottweilers, and Pitbulls). I have owned a Tea Cup chihuahua and have babysat for Cocker Spaniels and Shitzus , Weiner dogs and the always lovely miniature Schnauzer. I love all dog breeds equally. I can do drop in visits and dog walks before and after work( I start work between 6-8 am and and usually off by 3 so check ins are never a problem also I'm able to check in between jobs on my route so I'm very flexible. and I can do boarding and doggy/kitty daycare on the weekends. I also have a huge love for the felines of the world! But ive never seen a hairless cat! I do have a kitten and a small puppy(german Shepard pit) at home both which a great with other animals! I love to get out and work with animals on my free time. I generally offer training services to friends and family and I am looking to extend that curtesy to others who love their dogs and want the best for them. I do have a 6 year old daughter at home so please be mindful when booking with me. I look forward to walking and sitting for your fur-babies!

About: Animal Control Officer for Flagstaff PD and a volunteer at High Country Humane (the local animal shelter). My prices are negotiable. I care for all animals, not just dogs. I strongly believe in animal rights. I decided to join rover for extra money to help put myself through college. I am doing a dog sitting/ house sitting job to which I must dedicate all my time for two weeks this summer, as I always do. For years I have done dog sitting/walking/house sitting just not through an app. I am willing to do jobs that consist of other animals besides dogs as well. I’ve done some work with horses, as I grew up on a farm with 20 horses and all kinds of other animals. I would prefer active animals because I like to hike/run/explore. I am willing to work with older or lazier animals as well though. At least 12 REFERENCES ARE AVAILABLE, don’t leave your pets with just anyone. I am working full time, but I have time to take on a few more animals for walking/ sitting. I give your animals the attention they deserve. I don’t typically watch animals in my own home, as I believe being at their own house is a comfort for them as their parents are away. I have had a couple dogs come stay with me at my home however.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Angell. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Angell.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Angell. On Rover:

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
