“Izzy did a great job taking care of our dog. He's took to her as soon as she walked in the door on her screening meeting. He's 15 years old and has never allowed anyone to take him on a walk besides family, but he went with Izzy. We've already booked her for another trip we have next month.”

About: I've taken care of pets my entire life. Rest assured your loved ones, your family members will be entertained, and loved while you are away. I currently work from home most days or go to the office for only 1-4 max. We make our own schedules so I can taylor your pets needs to fit into any work day. I treat my pets as part of the family they are one of us. Know that your pets will be taken care and in great hands. I currently work from home and can customize my schedule each week to fit the needs of any client as long as I know in advanced. Our pets go on walks daily. When loved ones are away it can be hard so we give extra cuddles. And treats for good behavior.

“Lindsey was kind and quick to respond to my msgs. She was caring and asked for instructions on how to watch Benny. She sent me photos of him while she let him out and he looked very happy. Thank you, Lindsey! I will definitely rebook with you again!”

“This was a last minute booking due to fire alarm checks at my apartment. Ginger quickly agreed to take him for the day, welcomed him in, and took excellent care of Gunter. He's a dachshund, not the easiest dog to deal with. But it went very well, and I'm making a permanent one day a week booking with Ginger. Couldn't be happier!”

I am very active so long walks are my favorite and I have a soft spot for old animals. I communicate very well. The standards I have for the care of my pets is exceptionally high and I provide that same experience for every pet I take care. I currently work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am available to do check ins or walks multiple times a day, if needed, and also have weekend availability. I am a big fan of communication(and photos!) but am trustworthy and reliable enough that you can also be out of service and rely on me to take care of things.

About: Growing up with dogs, cats, horses and even goats - I’m no stranger to pet care and all that it entails. As a nurse, I have a rotating schedule that allows me to have frequent weekdays off so I can help you with your pets! Additionally, it means I have no qualms about veterinary care such as medications or special precautions for any pups who need it. I have my own Alaskan Husky, Dash, so I’m no stranger to puppy training, either. I’m happy to do whatever I can to make sure your doggo has the best day. My work schedule varies week to week, but I always have 4 days a week off to help out with your pup. On those days, my days are pretty free to accommodate your dog’s care needs! Refer to my Rover calendar for availability. I have a fenced yard as well as a very sweet young pup named Dash who can play with your dog if you would like! I live right near a great trail system for dog walks, but I also love to go for hikes if that’s what your dog needs, and I have a comfy couch for those who rather snuggle up with me while I read.

I enjoy meeting new friends. I have two frenchies who love dogs and people. I am good with leash walking and love to play with dogs. My dogs have established play times twice a day morning and night with me and my wife and their cousins who are Australian Shepards. They go on at least two walks a day.

As well as I've raised and trained multiple NAVHDA hunting dogs, and 2 cats. I also have a large amount of experience with older dogs and cats that need extra attention and care to their daily activities, including medical. I have 1 additional job, working as a PM hostess for a restaurant in downtown Anchorage. If there is ever any conflict, I would let you, the owner, know ahead of time if possible. About: As a lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all breeds and ages, from playful puppies to cherished seniors, I bring a deep understanding of their needs. My passion for the outdoors means plenty of active playtime, and my recent adoption of a dog has rekindled my love for canines. Dogs will thrive in my care, enjoying cuddles and adventures in a nurturing environment. I work full time 40 hours a week. I am off Friday & Saturday making me the perfect weekend stand in for last minute plans. I adopted a dog several weeks ago and have established a schedule in which I can take a break to do potty breaks every 4 hours. In our free time we love to head out to the trails and spent time outdoors, great time to socialize and get some exercise! I have a fenced yard and an adult dog in my home. My dog gets along well with other dogs but is shy so won’t be super social. My dog isn’t crate trained and has free rein of house but I am happy to separate parts of home if your dog needs crate time.

About: I've been watching my own personal pets as well as other peoples since I was a young child. I trained my dog, a half lab/half Weimeraner to retrieve at a pretty high level. I had a three legged cat as well. I've been living with dogs my entire life and cats for the last eight years I work remotely and would prefer to house sit in a place where I can also do my work. Your pet would have someone around the majority of the time and I can take care of other business. According to the conditions and the pets stated needs. I love walking dogs and retrieving with them and it is always nice giving cats catnip if they like catnip.

Tynesha D.
“Tynesha 'Nesha" D. became my friend shortly after moved to Anchorage, over 7 years ago, and ever since then I now consider her my family. She's stuck in my life, it happens. I remember one time, I left on a trip from Anchorage to Las Vegas, and due to procrastination, I was unable to get my Great Dane "Sniper", in dog care before leaving. So, while at the airport, before boarding I called around for a dog care, then called Nesha and told her the scenario and where to find my hidden house key, and she took Sniper to the dog care. There were many other times I was away from the House temporarily, and Nesha watched Sniper, making sure he had food and water and was let outside. 100% reliable and loved, Nesha is.”

Shane H.
“I've known Shane for nine years, and for all of those years, besides being phenomenal with pets, he is someone I know I can depend on. Sage K.
“I booked Sage to look after my dog while I was out of town for a few days and Sage went totally above and beyond my expectations! She closely followed the instructions left for her and treated my dog like one of her own. Leaving your pets alone for any period of time can be stressful but Sage is a reliable and trustworthy person who will treat your pet like one of her own! I will definitely be booking her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a petsitter!”

Kahayla G.
“Kahayla housesat for me when I went on a vacation, which included taking care of my two dogs that had very different needs and abilities. I do not have a yard, so she had to walk my dogs in order for them to go to the bathroom. One of my dogs is 2 and pretty active. The other is 13 and a 3-legged pug that has to be carried up and down exterior stairs. My dogs eat different food and one of them takes medication. I did not have to worry about my animals. Kahayla is very responsible and smart. My dogs were happy and relaxed when I returned home, and my house was in good condition. Highly recommend her.”

William M.
“I have known William for 15 years, and he has been watching my pets intermittently for the last 8 years. He is always my first choice for pet sitting, because he is reliable, readily reachable by phone and has a lot of experience around many types of animals. He also has been a long time animal lover and treats his own pets like a part of his family. I have 3 cats and 7 chickens. Any time William is responsible for my pets when I am away, I can rest easy knowing that they are in good hands. You too can rest easy if William is watching your pets.”
Anchorage dog parents share their Rover experiences
Olga is the best! She was sweet, patient and understanding with my Australian Shepherd and accomplished to take her for walks while we were out of town. She included pictures during her visits, which greatly helped me feel at ease, and communicated daily crearly and straight to the point. Our house was left in great conditions and she followed our instructions respectfully. I absolutely recommend her service. Thank you, Olga! :)

We couldn’t be happier with the care Callen provided for my dog Layla and my cat Loki while we were away for a week. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Layla and Loki were both calm and happy when we returned, which speaks volumes. She kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us peace of mind throughout our trip. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!
