About: My name is Jessie and I currently work a remote part-time job in education. I am located in Columbia, CT. I’m a huge dog lover and have experience with in-home pet sitting, dog walking, feeding, playing, and providing plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I’ve cared for mostly medium and large dogs, but I truly love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’ve also lived with several different breeds of dogs over the years, including a Pomeranian, Australian Cattle Dog, mini Schnauzer, and Lab mix, so I’m comfortable with a wide variety of temperaments and needs. I previously worked with Rover and am excited to be back! Because I work remotely, I have flexibility throughout the day and can give your pets the attention and care they deserve. I’m able to work pet care into my daily routine with plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I enjoy having pets as part of my day and am happy to work around their usual routines and needs. I’m also able to provide more frequent check-ins and attention due to my flexible schedule. I care for pets in their own home by keeping them comfortable and sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine. I’m happy to handle walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of attention and companionship. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and make sure pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while they’re with me. About: I love animals & have had many--from turtles & fish to cats & dogs & goats. Its such a pleasure to tend to them & just be with them. I'm super responsible & your pet will be my priority the entire time you are away. It will be such fun! Experience with older dogs & cats as well as special needs dogs & cats :) I only accept 30 minute drop-ins and walks within a 5 mile radious from my home. Over 5 mile radius requires a 45 minute or an hour walk or drop in! I have experience with senior dogs & cats. I have experience also administrating insulin to older dogs & other willing animals. I am a freelance worker which gives me ample opportunity to accommodate to your pet's and your schedule needs. I have a very flexible schedule. Since I myself have had stay-in-sitters for my pets; I know how important it is to have a truly attentive & responsible sitter in order to relax while you are away. While you are away I will ensure that your pets daily feeding, walking & companionship needs are met. WE will have such a great time together!

About: I'm currently the behavior manager for our dog team at Our Companions Animal Rescue. I work at our sanctuary where I manage a team of competent handlers and I work with reactive/aggressive dogs. I'm currently working on getting my CPDT. If you hire me, I promise your canine companion will receive the care, compassion, patience, and attention they deserve. I'm generally always free Sundays and Mondays. I do work full-time Tuesday to Saturday, so my availability is somewhat limited. I can provide my dog walking/activity assistance after 4pm on those work days, except Fridays. I’m home almost 24/7, which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether your pet is used to early morning walks, specific feeding times, frequent puppy potty breaks, or just lots of companionship throughout the day, I’m happy to accommodate their schedule as closely as possible. In my home, it’s just my partner and me with no children or pets of our own, so your pet will have a calm, spacious environment. I only board one family’s pet(s) at a time so I can focus on their needs and help them feel comfortable and at home. My yard is unfenced, so dogs will always be leashed and supervised when outside. Inside, pets are welcome to get comfortable and are allowed on the furniture unless you prefer otherwise. I’m also familiar with crates and happy to follow your pet’s normal crate, feeding, walking, sleeping, and potty routines. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of both your pet’s routine and your space. I’ll follow all instructions closely, make sure doors and entrances are secure, keep dogs leashed during walks, and give you updates so you know how your pet is doing. About: I’ve grown up with only dogs my whole life! Got to be quite the cat person after I caved and picked my first one up a couple years ago. She ended up having a litter of 5! So I definitely have experience with cats in heat, cats in pregnancy/labor as well as newborn kittens! Can bathe (dogs or kittens up to 3-4 months) , give medication, walk, run around, spend time, playtime just about anything when it comes to cats and dogs! Feel free to reach out! Pretty flexible. About: I am new to the Rover app but I’ve taken care of animals my entire life and have a wide range of availability! I just want to be able to help those who need their fur babies taken care of without the added stress of boarding them. I have experience with lots of different animals, sizes, diets and medicine administration. I only have one pet in my house and he’s a small 20lb dog named Koda. He LOVES other animals and even has some cat bffs! I am home most week nights and weekends so i have pretty open availability! I take my dog on long walks after work and we are always looking for more company! I do not have a fenced yard but I do have a very yard with a leash that is on a run with plenty of room to get the zoomies out! About: I absolutely love going for walks and runs with dogs! Please see updated photos for some of my previous pet clients. Recently took care of a few hairless cats as well as a big dog! I’ve taken care of pets in many settings, including messier households! (Not a neat freak so messes do not bother me!) I trained my Doberman on Couch to 5k, running through all the trails in RI. I’ve taught my cat how to shuffle cards, play piano, and spin in a circle on command, and my mom’s old cat would always practice Pilates with us at 6 in the morning. Recently I dropped in for a friend’s 2 cats, even the shy one eventually warmed up to me! They required medication in their food so she left detailed, neatly handwritten notes on the table, which helped a lot! Known for my positive and caring energy as a music therapist (who works alongside a pet therapist!) and music teacher, and with a mom with a college degree in animal science, I have a passion for animals in general. She is now dating a farmer and we now have a baby cow named clover who I help take care of occasionally on Sundays. Generally I am available in the middle of the day most days of the week for one-off visits. My boyfriend is a biologist and also has a small dog who I walk frequently in the mornings and at midnight (she’s a night owl like us!) Available to do drop-ins at your home within 45 mins of Montville - please message me at least one week before your trip to solidify the booking! Please be kind, respectful, and professional in your requests - I do not take last minute visits but would love to help you out with your furry friend. Not a veterinarian, just an animal lover with a lot of compassion!! One of my favorite activities is running, I can always walk or run with your pet, or if you prefer us to lounge, I have lots of great pet-friendly shows on our nice TV. I love driving so I’m happy to drive to you if it’s further away - as I am regularly back and forth between Westerly, RI and Uncasville, CT. Outside of teaching in a formal studio, I’ve worked in client’s homes for therapy-related meetings as well as for music lessons - and believe it or not often times there are pets who love to sing along to the music! I usually stay home in the morning so I can easily take care of your pet between 7 am and 2 pm. I used to have an office job but found it too sedentary and draining; I discovered I thrive in outdoor and home environments. I’m excited to enter this new chapter and care for animals! I have a partially fenced yard so I would generally take pets out on a leash but it is a non-busy road and very safe - the lawn is freshly mowed and we have a playground your dog can weave around! I also have a cute little neighborhood that we can circle around that is far from the highway and if your pet loved car rides, we can always go to the park and get ice cream! Occasionally our neighbor’s dog likes to come over unsolicited but he is always very gentle and friendly! My cats are also used to my mom’s boyfriend’s rambunctious dogs coming in and out from time to time and we have plenty of doors and rooms in the house and baby gates if we ever needed to keep pets separate! We also have a spare pet bed if needed that was gifted to us - we always want to make sure your pet is comfortable sleeping at night!

About: I grew up with dogs my entire childhood so I am very good with dogs and knowing how to care for them. I would walk our family dog and take him to the park and I was always very excited to do so. I’m currently attending college and I care for dogs and cats as a fun job when I’m not studying. My weekends are pretty much completely open for dog sitting, walking, feeding and whatever else your dog needs. I will care for your pets with love and affection. I will make sure they are well taken care of when they are with me. Whatever you need me to do for your pet I will make sure to do. I want them to be happy and comfortable in my care. I currently go to CT state college so I am busy 4 mornings out of the week, but it’s not all morning and nights I am almost always free. Also, I am free all day Saturday and Sunday to care for your pets. I live in a house so I have a lot of room for your pets to play. And if I am in your home I am very respectful of your house, animals and belongings and will treat it with the same care as I do for my own.

About: Ever since college, I’ve enjoyed pet sitting small lap dog size to giant Great Danes. I first started to find a running buddy and then it turned into a fun job for me. It even helped me buy my wife her engagement ring! I own an aussiedoodle who is always active and have learned quite a bit through dog ownership. I’ve helped several neighbors in various cities and can provide references from some awesome families. I work as an at home teacher so my schedule is very flexible. I’m able to provide drop ins, dog walking, and house sit so your pets can feel safe in their space. I’m very good at following directions and leaving spaces the same if not better than I find them. About: i’ve have many types of breeds. i currently have two border collies and love working with animals. i can’t wait to meet yours, im excited it’s in my everyday routine , i have a very hyper breed so they are very active. i wake up and my dog is the first thing i take of , and i do the same throughout the day. i make sure she’s taken care of before other things. i do what is more comfortable for the dog , if they are hyper i’ll play with them until they are tired. if they are calm dogs i’ll feed them and make sure they are cared for either way.
