About: Growing up I always had a dog and cats. They bring so much joy into my life. I am currently taking time off from nursing as we had our first son in August. So I am a stay at home mom. My husband and I have an English Cream Golden Retriever who is now 5 years old! I have experience training puppies, giving medications, walking dogs. Very flexible. Occasionally might have to have my 10 month old son with me for drop ins or walks. Would want to make sure cats/dogs are comfortable around kids. Thanks! They would get a lot of outside time! Large yard in the woods. Can keep them on a leash if needed as it is not fenced in.

I have a senior small dog of my own, and before that I had experience walking and caring for my neighbors' dogs when I was younger. Outside of Rover, I have multiple clients I regularly house-sit for with pups of all ages/sizes. I've also volunteered with shelter dogs! I also have experience with other animals if required. In my home I have 3 wonderful cats as well as my dog! I've worked with rabbits, dogs, cats, turtles, and am eager to learn about anything else. My top passion is pets. My availability is flexible, but I prefer a heads up at least a week in advance to coordinate accordingly. I am also a trained groomer, so I have experience in all grooming aspects, dog handling, and dog body language. My own pup is reactive, so I am incredibly comfortable and confident in handling your pet if they have behavioral issues as well. DISCLAIMER: I require a meet and greet prior to any daycare stays in my home, for everyone's comfort. Everyone's safety is of the utmost importance, including your pets' and mine. While one of my cats is very elusive, the other loves dogs and so does my dog! I am great about fitting some care into my day even on shorter notice. Nicole went above and beyond caring for our senior dog and our puppy mill breeder mama who has yet to fully adapt to a loving life . During her 2wk stay, not only did she provide basic care, but also dealt with potty problems, storms, loss of power, and a bear issue which caused a major trash situation. In the end, she left our home spotless. Our doggies were very happy. We are definitely using Nicole again!

Jacen took care of my two Pomeranians, Meeko and Koda, while I was away in Puerto Rico, and I truly appreciated the peace of mind he provided. He was reliable and made sure their basic needs were met, which is always my top priority when I’m away from them. Meeko can be a bit protective and vocal, and Koda is more laid back and affectionate, so they each have very different personalities. Jacen handled their differences well and ensured they were cared for during my absence. Communication was excellent with regular updates and photos, which allowed me to feel more connected and reassured while away. Overall, I’m grateful for his help and for making it possible for me to take my trip knowing my dogs were being taken care of.
