About: Hello! My name is Izzy, I’m 21 years old, and I’m going into my senior year at Penn State while working at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp. I’m so excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve grown up with having dogs in my household all my life, from a 4 1/2 lb. Chihuahua to a chunky Toy Fox Terrier to a mighty but loving Rottweiler-Black Lab mix. I’ve also been tasked with taking care of my neighbor’s and friend’s dogs over the years, whether that be stopping over to give them food, bathroom breaks, and cuddles, or even staying overnight over the span of a week so the dog(s) don’t feel alone. Therefore, I’m hoping to be the best fit for you, too! Outside of dogs, I love to be in our pool when the weather is warm and being able to do so with my family, pick up new crafting hobbies like scrapbooking or embroidery, and go to concerts of a variety of artists (43 concerts and counting!), most recently being 5 Seconds of Summer. I can’t wait to start this opportunity and hopefully bring some relief to someone in need of dog-helping needs! I’m currently working part-time at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp., and the schedule always fluctuates between 4-6 hour shifts. I don’t have set days, but I’m typically scheduled one weekday and the Friday-Sundays, However, I have plenty of time outside of those shifts and always accommodate around them to ensure that all the dog’s needs are met. At home, I assist in letting our dogs play in our fenced-in backyard, giving them treats when they’ve behaved or done a trick we’ve taught them (sit and “paw”), taking them on neighborhood walks when it’s nice outside, assuring that their food and water are filled, and playing with them to get their zoomies out before everyone starts winding down for the night. Outside of my home, if there is not a fenced-in backyard, I’ve taken the dog(s) outside on leashes for bathroom purposes, as well as do all actions mentioned above from what I do at home. Some houses have also had puppy pads when necessary, and I always take appropriate measures to clean up any messes and re-lay down a fresh puppy pad.

About: I’ve taken care of neighborhood pets since the age of 10. Cats will follow me home while walking my dog. Sometimes they just walk with me and go back home while others will try to stay! Some of the cats stop to see if there are any treats and give me the slow blink if I’m looking out the window! I adopted a dog 2 years ago and he was twice the weight he should have been. Through walking and better nutrition and habits, he is happy, healthy and acting like a much younger dog! He offers me a hip bump, when I pick up the leash! I am not planning to provide pet care at my home unless it is an emergency. My home is safe for animals. It is both dog and cat proofed. We have learned though the years and each pet has had different needs.

“Vickie is awesome! From the first meet and greet my girls loved her . Sammie and Sasha don’t really pay attention to people that come to our house, but they took to Vickie from the first meeting and that is the reason we hired her to stay with our fur babies. She kept us updated throughout our whole time we were gone and let us know how things were going every day. She even washed and remade the bed so I didn’t have to do that when we got back! That was an unexpected surprise and very much appreciated! We will have Vickie sit for us again! She’s the best!”

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life and recently completed a veterinary assistant program through my school’s career and technical center, as well as volunteered at the local animal shelter. Through my training, I’ve learned safe animal handling, recognizing signs of illness, administering basic care, maintaining cleanliness, and keeping pets comfortable and stress-free. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats of different ages and personalities. I understand how important it is to treat every pet with patience, kindness, and attention to detail. I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own. I currently have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide care throughout the week. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine for feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of affection. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Through my veterinary assistant training, I’ve learned safe handling techniques and how to recognize when a pet may not be feeling well. I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely, keep their environment clean and secure, and provide regular updates with photos so you can feel confident they’re receiving loving, dependable care.

About: My first time dog sitting, I watched 2 Great Danes for a week while their family was away. I left this experience telling everyone I wanted to own a Great Dane when I got older. I have a tremendous love for pets and love to work with the family to keep them happy and routine oriented. I also adore my family dog, Sam. I currently work full time Monday-Friday, so being a dog walker would fit into my schedule week nights after 5pm, and weekends. I am open to dog sit on the weekends. I care for pets in my clients home by making sure I follow in-depth instructions about their pets routine while also making sure their house is kept tidy during my stay.

About: I've been a pet owner since 1990. Would love to help out fun dogs in need of attention. Recently relocated back to my hometown and can't have a pet of my own currently. Someday, again... I've just relocated back to Ellwood City and look forward to opportunities to network with new clients and their pets. I've been inactive for the last few years because of work responsibilities, but I'm really flexible right now until I find permanent work again in the area. I cannot bring pets to my home though. I will follow your instructions to the T. I can't offer in home services where I live, but will do as instructed so that your pet enjoys my visit. Just let me know any do's and don'ts and I can take it from there.

On the day they showed a bit early, made sure everything was clear, and went over permissions, feeding schedules, vet info and the like. About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).

About: I've interacted with the smallest to the largest dog breeds out there. They all just want to be loved. I enjoy playing with all kinds of puppers. I'm currently not working, but I am actively looking for full time work and was recommended this by a friend that does this in her spare time due to an injury. I know how and what to look out for if anything were to be wrong with your fur babies. I've had some formal training as a veterinary technician.

I’m patient, caring, and dependable, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, giving belly rubs, or making sure they feel safe and comfortable, I truly enjoy spending time with dogs of all ages and sizes. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I’m committed to providing reliable, loving care while you’re away. My goal is to make every dog feel happy, loved, and well cared for. I’m available Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM, and weekends from 11 AM to 8 PM for walks, visits, and loving pet care. I create a safe, trusted, and welcoming environment where dogs feel comfortable, loved, and cared for with patience, attention, and respect like they are family.
