About: I’ve taken care of neighborhood pets since the age of 10. Cats will follow me home while walking my dog. Sometimes they just walk with me and go back home while others will try to stay! Some of the cats stop to see if there are any treats and give me the slow blink if I’m looking out the window! I adopted a dog 2 years ago and he was twice the weight he should have been. Through walking and better nutrition and habits, he is happy, healthy and acting like a much younger dog! He offers me a hip bump, when I pick up the leash! I am not planning to provide pet care at my home unless it is an emergency. My home is safe for animals. It is both dog and cat proofed. We have learned though the years and each pet has had different needs.

About: Hello! My name is Izzy, I’m 21 years old, and I’m going into my senior year at Penn State while working at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp. I’m so excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve grown up with having dogs in my household all my life, from a 4 1/2 lb. Chihuahua to a chunky Toy Fox Terrier to a mighty but loving Rottweiler-Black Lab mix. I’ve also been tasked with taking care of my neighbor’s and friend’s dogs over the years, whether that be stopping over to give them food, bathroom breaks, and cuddles, or even staying overnight over the span of a week so the dog(s) don’t feel alone. Therefore, I’m hoping to be the best fit for you, too! Outside of dogs, I love to be in our pool when the weather is warm and being able to do so with my family, pick up new crafting hobbies like scrapbooking or embroidery, and go to concerts of a variety of artists (43 concerts and counting!), most recently being 5 Seconds of Summer. I can’t wait to start this opportunity and hopefully bring some relief to someone in need of dog-helping needs! I’m currently working part-time at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp., and the schedule always fluctuates between 4-6 hour shifts. I don’t have set days, but I’m typically scheduled one weekday and the Friday-Sundays, However, I have plenty of time outside of those shifts and always accommodate around them to ensure that all the dog’s needs are met. At home, I assist in letting our dogs play in our fenced-in backyard, giving them treats when they’ve behaved or done a trick we’ve taught them (sit and “paw”), taking them on neighborhood walks when it’s nice outside, assuring that their food and water are filled, and playing with them to get their zoomies out before everyone starts winding down for the night. Outside of my home, if there is not a fenced-in backyard, I’ve taken the dog(s) outside on leashes for bathroom purposes, as well as do all actions mentioned above from what I do at home. Some houses have also had puppy pads when necessary, and I always take appropriate measures to clean up any messes and re-lay down a fresh puppy pad.

She was so kind and met my pups ahead of time to make them comfortable. She was very trustworthy and I knew I could enjoy my trip knowing they were in excellent hands. I would recommend Vickie to anyone and was so thankful that she took such great care of them. She really went above and beyond and sent me updates just to see how they were doing. About: My first time dog sitting, I watched 2 Great Danes for a week while their family was away. I left this experience telling everyone I wanted to own a Great Dane when I got older. I have a tremendous love for pets and love to work with the family to keep them happy and routine oriented. I also adore my family dog, Sam. I currently work full time Monday-Friday, so being a dog walker would fit into my schedule week nights after 5pm, and weekends. I am open to dog sit on the weekends. I care for pets in my clients home by making sure I follow in-depth instructions about their pets routine while also making sure their house is kept tidy during my stay.

“Nicole treated our Great Dane/Giant Schnauzzer wonderfully! She was attentive to his fresh water, food schedule, playing preferences and toys. She also took care of our aquatic turtle by cleaning the tank, feeding her, and turning her lamps on and off. Nicole also cleaned our house and watered our plants after the 10 day stay. She gave daily updates and pictures. We love her and would highly recommend her!”

About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).

“Sydney was so wonderful with our pets and there are 5 of them so they can be a handful. She has great communication and was very prompt and on time. She sent lots of updates and stayed in contact with us for our entire trip. She left the house cleaner than when we left and our dogs were so well taken care of. Highly recommend!”

About: I've interacted with the smallest to the largest dog breeds out there. They all just want to be loved. I enjoy playing with all kinds of puppers. I'm currently not working, but I am actively looking for full time work and was recommended this by a friend that does this in her spare time due to an injury. I know how and what to look out for if anything were to be wrong with your fur babies. I've had some formal training as a veterinary technician.
