The information that I would like to have before caring for a dog would be: what is off limits, what particular behaviors do the dogs have, how much food should I feed them, do they get along with other dogs, do they require medication, do they have a special toy they are attached to and any other pertinent information I should know.
A typical day
When I care for dogs, I first follow the owner’s instructions. Typically, I enjoy taking dogs outdoors to play fetch or frisbee or tug of war. I also enjoy taking dogs for walks. When inside, I love to play hide and seek with dogs because it makes them think. I also try to practice tricks/commands with them.

I’ve owned dogs my whole life. For the past 5 years, I decided what better job to have than pet care! I started Petsitting for others and love it. I treat pets like they are my own. Although I do love spoiling pets by playing with them and giving them lots of attention, I also abide by the owner’s rules. I love to walk dogs. I also have experience giving dogs medication. Over the past 5 years, I’ve become a sitter for cats as well and I am very comfortable with them.

Vickie was amazing! Everything went great and I was so comfortable knowing she was spending time with Josie. Josie looked for her all evening and hopes she comes back to play soon!
Vickie is the BEST! We have 2 large Alaskan Malamutes who are our babies. They fell in love with her immediately. Vickie kept us updated frequently, and we relaxed and enjoyed our trip knowing the dogs were in great hands!! We will definitely invite Vickie again!
Vickie was absolutely amazing! She watched our 2 dogs for 7 days and took great care of them( and our house ). We can’t say enough good things about the care she provided our pups. She was very communicative and sent us lots of messages and pictures. We would recommend Vickie to dog sit to everyone.
