About: Hi! My name is Addie and I love animals! I have two dogs, three cats, and a horse of my own! I have worked at a vet clinic now for 3 years in my home town! When I am not in the clinic you can find me at WKU where I am studying animal science with a pre-vet concentration! I also love to spend my down time at the shelter in Bowling Green! Here I love on the cats and take shelter dogs for walks! I grew up on a farm with many animals and have grew to love all of them! During my job as a vet assistant I have learned how to work with all different demeanors and personalities when it comes to animals! I have experience with timid pups, outgoing animals, energetic animals, puppies, and so much more! I look forward to meeting your fur babies! In-between my classes at Western I love to spend time with animals! It provides me with a mental break from my schools and studies and gives me something to look forward to! When I am home during college breaks I spend most of my time working and carrying for animals at the clinic. However, when I have days off my favorite thing to do is to take my dogs for a hike. My house when I am not living in the dorm at school consist of two indoor cats, an indoor dog, an outdoor cat, and an outdoor dog! All of my animals have grew up together and get along with other pets just fine! I do however take them out on a leash to ensure they don’t get scared or run off!

Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first, and you’ll get plenty of updates and cute photos because I know being away from your pet is basically emotional warfare. I go by Aya, but spiritually I become John Wick if anything even mildly inconveniences your dog during our walk. Squirrels? Handled. Scary trash can? Defeated. Suspicious plastic bag blowing in the wind? We shall overcome.✨🐺🐺🐺 I currently work 8 to 430 and I work from home so I’m available from 6 AM to 7:30 AM and anytime after 5:30 PM I do not do boarding in my own home or overnight visits. Most Farm Animals, all the way from baby chicks to Horses. I have Fostered many cats and Dogs where i have weaned kittens from their mamma as needed. Syringe Fed Kittens that lost their mamma etc.. Experience from a Small Yorkie to a Large German Shepard. Have had Training lessons as Well so this is a plus in some situations. My schedule is very flexible so I am able to do most pop ins for potty breaks, weekends and some overnight opportunity. Please reach out with questions. I have experience with anything from puppies to senior cats to smaller critters like snakes and hamsters. I can accommodate any special needs or preferences that would make this experience more comfortable for you and your pets. I work a part-time job throughout the week, but otherwise I am very flexible and can dedicate several approximately hour-long check-ins during the day so your pets are happy and taken care of. I have full availability on the weekends to stay all day if needed. Your animal's welfare comes first. I take the time to understand their routine and needs so that being apart from you feels as familiar and stress-free as possible. I structure each day as close to your pet's typical schedule as I can. I love taking long walks if your dog is up for it, but can provide plenty of other activities like playing with toys and excessive cuddles to keep them comfortable and stimulated. Please notify me of any medicines, allergies, special needs, requests, favorite toys/treats, and anything else you find important to understanding your pet and their care. Additionally, if there are any house care items I can help out with, let me know! (Checking mail, watering plants, etc)

“Maggie did not utilize the full time that I paid for. I booked her for 30 minute drop in visits, twice daily. The longest visit was about 24 minutes, with the shortest being only 12 minutes. I feel ripped off because I am paying for a service and didn’t get what I paid for. Also, I am aware our backyard was a bit muddy due to recent rains, and there were some muddy foot prints on the floors when I left, but we came home to large clumps of mud in the house and mud/dirt stains all over our furniture. Our grey couches were brown with dirt and when I gave the dog a bath, we got so much dirt off her feet. Maggie also didn’t use the Rover app regularly for check ins and I only received photos from her a couple times during the 5 days we were gone. She was communicative and friendly until I addressed the short visits with her and then she stopped communicating all together. Unfortunately, I would not book with her again, nor would I recommend her to anyone else.”

About: I’ve always grown up with animals around, have cared for many cats, dogs and other creatures. Most of my experience is with cats and dogs though! I’m in-between jobs at the moment and also have been considering going to school, so for now I am free most of the time! I should be able to meet almost any need! Wont be able to board any animals in my home, but I’d love to do whatever is necessary to make your animals feel comfortable and keep them on their daily routines!
