About: We absolutely love animals, and want to share our home and fenced yard with your pooch. We understand what it’s like to leave your dog with someone else while you’re away; we will treat your dog like a member of our family. I (Diana) grew up on a farm with lots of different animals and dogs, and understand how each one has their own fantastic personality. Just let me know what they need, and I can do it. We’ve had puppies, older dogs, big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between! My tween/teen kids are kind and fun with animals, and will provide even more love and attention for your dog while they stay with us. Thank you for trusting us with your favorite furry buddy! We primarily work from home so we can spend a lot of quality time with your dog. We have a Newfoundland-poodle mix of our own, so our daily routine is already focused on dog care (feeding, walking, letting outside, etc). Just let me know what your dog needs! We also have goats, chickens, outdoor cats, and a couple of feral peacocks that hang around the property. It’s a pet paradise. 😊 We have a large fenced yard and a big goofball named Hoagie to keep your doggy company. We will love and care for your dog as if he/she was our own, because that’s what we would expect for Hoagie while we’re away. We have extra pet beds, food and water dishes, etc. Our yard is perfect for a game of fetch, a sunbathing session, playtime with Hoagie, or just a great sniff. We’re happy to have your dog sleep in one of our bedrooms, take them for walks, and give them all the love.

About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I run a 501(c)(3) dog rescue, regularly transport dogs, care for puppies, seniors, and special-needs dogs, administer medications, work on basic training, leash manners, and provide structured, loving care tailored to each pet’s needs. Pet care fits seamlessly into my schedule because animals are already a central part of my daily life. I work from home and plan my days around feeding schedules, walks, medications, enrichment, and individualized care. This flexibility allows me to be reliable, responsive, and fully present for each pet. I have 2 600+ feet plus areas for dogs to run and play. We have a building for them to sleep cozy, clean and safe.

“Gracie was one of Grant's many "foster" dogs that we adopted in December 2020 from the Foothill Dog Rescue organization in Shingle Springs. Grant told us he enjoys it when he has the change to care for dogs he had previously fostered. This was Gracie's fourth stay with Grant and we can tell she picks up the familiar "out in the country" scent as soon as we turn onto the main road on the way to Grant's house. From the photos of videos that he sent during her stay, we could tell she enjoyed getting to romp with other dogs, run long distances outside and taking naps and relaxing. Grant's price is extremely reasonable given the value of providing a "woodland" area for the dogs to enjoy, instead of just a backyard in the city! We always know Grant will treat Gracie just like we do, a part of the family. Linda and her husband are naturals, very relaxed and calm in their interaction with the dogs. The other dogs that were there when I dropped Rosie off were content and happy and it was the same, Rosie included, when I picked her up 3 days later. The property is beautiful and dogs are free to explore and play. Rosie didn't go to a boarding kennel, she had a doggie spa vacation!”
