About: I currently own an amazing certified Good Boy Austalian Cattle Dog and two snuggly cats. I have have always owned at least one pet, both cats and dogs since I was little. I have done a decent amount of pet sitting for neighbors and friends. I have even had to give oral meds to one dog I dog sat. If you have any questions, please ask! Dogs will always get at least a 15 minutes walk because my dog usually needs a longer one. I sometimes give my cats and dog breakfast and then usually give the dog a quick 15 walk in the morning before leaving for work at 7:30 am. I get back home around 3:00 pm and usually give my dog his actual long walk between 40 and 70 minutes depending on weather. I feed the animals and then have dinner and usually just relax and snuggle on the couch with at least one of the fur kids. I fit in other cleaning and what not in there but I always make it a point to walk my doggo and make sure they get snuggles since I am gone for a good portion of the day. I have room for a crate for a crate trained dog. I have a moderately sized backyard that is well fenced in. My dog is a counter surfer so we have baby gates for both the kitchen and the extra bedroom. The extra bedroom serves as the cat room so the cats have a dedicated space. Stuff can be adjusted if you have a cat not used to dogs, so they can have that entire room or vice versa our cats can go in there for a dog that is not cat friendly. We only live five minutes from Marbletown Animal Hospital of any emergencies arise needing urgent care if your vet is not available.

About: I understand animals on a deep level and have a knack for getting them into a calm, happy state. Throughout my lifetime, I have cared for dogs, cats, cows, sheep, rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese. Safety is paramount when it comes to our fur babies. I am a very fastidious person and this is amplified when I care for animals. They deserve all the best :) I am currently renovating and have free time between work on my house. I am very flexible and willing to work with your schedule. I have two reliable vehicles- one of which is perfect for safe transport of larger dog if necessary. Safety is my number one priority as a dog mom and cat mom myself. I will take every step possible to ensure the comfort, safety and health of your pet. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life! Recently started boarding and at home visits within the past two years and I love it! I’ve worked with puppies-elderly dogs, helped train from bite work to bathroom breaks. I try to do it and love it all! I am a teacher and I have summer home free with my daughter. We don’t have any pets of our own and love to love the pets you love! I like to follow the requests of the client, wherever, however, and whenever i’m needed! About: I have experience with many different dog breeds with different energy and health needs. I give all of the animals under my care the same treatment. I would take care of a super senior cat with the same dedication I would a golden retriever puppy. I'm not squeamish at all either, I'm comfortable dealing with body fluids and administering injection and medications. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters so i've seen it all! Currently, my only commitments are helping to babysit younger family members, which is flexible schedule and only part-time. I have lots of time to not only take care of your animals, but also play with them and give them good entertainment My own dog is a runner, so I am hypervigilant about making sure animals don't dart out doors. I always make sure I physically see the animal and watch them to make sure they look healthy and happy, I don't just leave food and water and go home. About: 25, located in Ulster Park, servicing Esopus, Rosendale, New Paltz, Kingston, Gardiner, etc. Drop-in &. overnight visits for up to 12 animals includes cats, dogs, horses & more! I currently work at a dog kennel in New Paltz but am more than willing to find time and love for your furry friends when needed! All services are offered in the clients home. I provide overnight care as well as 3/4 drop in visits for vacation stays. All services include feeding, watering, walks if needed, medication administration, plant watering, mail take in and sheets washed/changed if time allows!
About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.
About: I grew up having dogs, cats, chickens, a turtle and a mouse and always wished to have more! And then started pet sitting for other people’s furry babies. I have experience with the most active and excited, as well as shy and quiet souls. I’ve learned how to take care of puppies and senior dogs. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
