About: I am currently a vet-tech student. I am fear-free certified. I know the scramble for pet care and how scary it can be to trust someone new with your pets. I hope to ease those fears and you can know your pet is getting the care they need. I am currently a student so my schedule varies, and I am looking for a part time job to fill in some gaps. This would also provide me the flexibility ot take on pet-care when my schedule allows so that the care level is never compromised. I will adhere to any rules or weird quirks your pet may have developed. For example growing up our dog would only eat if you made him think it was cooked the same way human food was cooked. We had to do a whole thing on the stove to seem like we were stirring it to fully cooked. I will always be mindful of any openings in yards and be sure they're closed off or that the pet is leashed properly before any door is opened.

About: My care for animals is rooted in my nature. I have spent 28 years loving and caring for dogs, cats, and livestock like sheep and goats. I currently volunteer at the Ulster County SPCA weekly doing dog and cat socialization. I bring genuine passion, care, and patience to each pet that is in my care. I am available for pet visits and walks from 6am to 11am and 8:30pm to 10:30pm during the week. My availability on the weekends is much more flexible. Let’s chat and come up with a plan. With over two decades of animal experience, I know that trust is earned, not assumed. I take time to read each pet’s cues, honor their boundaries, and follow your established routines. About: I grew up around dogs, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve helped take care of my friends’ dogs, including Pip, whom I’ve watched since he was a puppy, and Martha, a more senior dog. I’ve handled walking, feeding, playtime, and just generally making sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. I’m very responsible and understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I take that responsibility seriously and treat every dog as if they were my own. It means a lot to me to be given the opportunity to care for your furry friend. : ) I actually just graduated from university, but I can be flexible with my schedule depending on what you and your doggie needs. If there’s a particular time that you’re looking for, feel free to let me know and we can work something out! I live in a single on campus, with a decently sized room for any small or medium sized doggies, and there is a fenced in track behind my building/apartment if they wanna just run around with me for a while.
