“Chaqutia looked after my pup, Ralph, for just over a week. I was nervous about leaving him for such a long period of time especially as he was unwell. Chaqutia put my mind at ease instantly and sent updates multiple times throughout the day of both photos and videos as well as a report of how he did with his food and confirming he took his meds. Any questions I had or suggestions I made, she responded to promptly. She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night. She was flexible with both pick up and drop off times and really listened to our needs Her home is beautiful, large and on a very quiet secluded road which was reassuring as less traffic. About: I love caring for cats of all ages, from kittens to seniors. I especially love playing with more rambunctious cats. I've lived in several situations with two or more cats in which they had to be slowly introduced or their interactions managed, and I'm confident in reading cats' body language. While pet sitting not only have I been responsible to feed the pets, give them water, let them out to relieve themselves, clean up after the pets, and take them out for a walk but I also have looked after the house. I was born and raised in a rural part of northern NJ where we always had a wide variety of animals as well as 2-3 dogs at any given time; predominantly German Shephards. (We also had fish, cats, chickens, horses, rabbits and more!) I have a strong love and appreciation for all animals, but especially dogs, and would love so very much to take care of your pet while you are away. I love going outdoors and being physically active and would love to share outdoor playtime with your pet. Why I love dog sitting I've had dogs my whole life. My family predominantly raised German Shepherds - and we typically had 2-3 dogs in our family at any given time. Dogs have always created a special connection and friendship for me that is irreplaceable! My experience administering medication Yes - so long as the owner feels that it is appropriate and manageable. My schedule is quite flexible, so I have time in the morning and mid day to attend to animals and take them for a walk, give feeding, attention, etc. - As well as flexibility in the evening to give dinner, evening walks, etc. At the moment I am not accepting pets in my home, however, I currently don't have any animals of my own so if I do board pets, they will be the only animal in the house.

I also volunteered at a local animal shelter as a dog walker. Currently 3 cats and a rambunctious German Shepard/Siberian Husky 3 years old. I have cared for all kinds of pets including but not limited to goats, chickens, horses, pigs, donkeys etc I’m currently working full time but have a very flexible schedule and can move my hours around to meet your needs especially for early morning and later evening check ins or during work hours! I have worked with leash trained and non leash trained dogs if you have a fenced in yard. I prefer leash trained dogs for public walks with a standard leash. I love animals, their snuggles & kisses too! I have kids & animals so drool & slobber don’t bother me!
About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life, I’ve had 3 pups and one cat so far (who i loved just as much <3). I’ve taken care of my neighbors pets for years so I have lots of experience!! I have mostly morning classes so i’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups/cats!! My availability begins at the end of august as I’m currently home for the summer I will take your pup on plenty of walks, play fetch outside, can crate if needed, can bathe your pet, really anything if you leave me instructions :))

Chaqutia put my mind at ease instantly and sent updates multiple times throughout the day of both photos and videos as well as a report of how he did with his food and confirming he took his meds. Any questions I had or suggestions I made, she responded to promptly. She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night. She was flexible with both pick up and drop off times and really listened to our needs Her home is beautiful, large and on a very quiet secluded road which was reassuring as less traffic. Her family are truly lovely and her eldest child played with Ralph lots (particularly loved those videos) Would definitely use Chaqutia again and recommend her to others!”
