About: I'll take your dog out for some fun and enriching exercise while peacefully training them to calmly follow along at your side with no pulling, whining, or reacting! I am a dog trainer, field biologist, and academic coach driven to lead people towards a mutually fulfilling life with their dogs, and to share my knowledge and wonder of nature to promote stewardship and love for all sentient beings. I have cared for family pets (cats, dogs, fish, rodents, rabbits, etc) throughout my life, and I have performed extensive animal husbandry during my PhD in Animal Behavior and Ecology (I have even trained and rehabbed hummingbirds!). I began formally dog walking and training in January 2025 and have helped each of my clients transform their relationships with their dogs by learning how to efficiently and peacefully communicate. I hope to: 1) refresh your dog's basic obedience and floppy leash walking skills; 2) help you be aware of your dog's body language, and your own habits; and 3) empower you to become the leader your dog needs! I am happy to offer free nail checks and trimming! 1% of all proceeds will go to Blackhat Humane Society, a Navajo Nation rescue/ foster organization where I adopted my service dog Louie from! I am currently based in Albuquerque, and I have a very flexible work and life schedule, so I can likely accommodate requests for walks at any time and frequency! I have an extensive experience house and pet (and plant!) sitting for family and friends, and I always treat clients' dogs and homes with utmost respect. I am currently unable to host pets in my home.

About: I currently provide dog-sitting services for coworkers, elderly neighbors, and friends. I don’t get enough bookings from people I know, so I’m joining Rover to hopefully get some more opportunities. My background includes working at an animal hospital, where I was primarily responsible for boarding dogs and cats of various sizes and ages. My duties encompassed walking, feeding, playing with, and maintaining the cleanliness of the kennels. Additionally, I undertook tasks such as bathing animals and caring for newborn puppies and kittens. I also look after my family’s cat and my partner’s dogs, both of whom present challenges due to their dog-aggressive behavior. This experience has fueled my ongoing commitment to studying dog behavior and training techniques to enhance my caregiving skills and better support the animals I look after. I will be fully dedicated to your pet’s wellness and happiness if you book with me! My fees are based on experience, gas expenses, and the work itself. Tips are greatly appreciated as there is a huge service fee on here. Thank you :) Right now, I work full time from 8:30 to 4:30, but I am fully available during evenings and early mornings. For any at home care on the weekends, I will have to leave for 2 hours to check on my own dogs while my partner is at work. When caring for pets, whether in my home or a client's, I prioritize a safe and structured environment tailored to each pet's individual needs. In client homes, I am trusted with overnight stays and have consistently managed multiple animals without any issues, ensuring they are comfortable, secure, and well-cared-for in their familiar surroundings. In my own home, I adhere to a disciplined routine, particularly with dogs, to maintain a sense of order and security. This includes scheduled feeding times, walks, and play sessions, which helps in managing their energy levels and maintaining their health. My cat, Beans, enjoys a more flexible routine, which suits her independent nature. She's free to set her own pace throughout the day, though I ensure her needs for interaction and care are met. Overall, my approach is based on respect, patience, and attentiveness to the unique personality and requirements of each pet, ensuring they feel loved and at ease under my care.

About: I got my first dog when I was 12 years old and have had pets every since! I've had everything from dogs to fish! We even had a scorpion when I was little. I'm a stay at home mom dog to my Great Dane! I make sure he is always well stimulated with toys play time and walks! I even go on doggy play dates! I care for all pets as my if they were my own kid. Strays included! I'm known in my family as the crazy animal lady..

About: I've handled and taken care of many pets for a long time, ever since I was in elementary school. I have primarily worked at an animal hospital with veteranarians in the clinic while assisting them, administering medication when needed, managing the boarding facility, and deep cleaning. I've worked with dogs and cats from bottle fed all the way to senior care. I'm also very experienced with bird care which is a plus. I'd be more than happy to give your loving friend the care it deserves, while you're away! Currently studying college in online classes, but I can make arrangements to help with your pet's needs, and provide any care for them. Flexibly and easily. I take care of the certain pet(s) depending on the owners desire or needs. But if standalone without any important rules, I always play and spend time with them while doing other activities! (TV, games, cooking, time outside, etc.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets, both my own and my family members, for 8 years. I was 10 years old when I got my first dog and he is the most calm natured and loving dog I’ve ever met. My family members regularly ask me to pet sit for them when they are busy or go out of town. I’m a high school senior and I need to raise money to afford college tuition. I get out of school at 1:30 every day and am free on weekends so I will almost always have time to care for your little babies :) I have a 1.5 acre fenced in yard so any pets will have lots of space to run and play. If they are allowed, I’ll give them treats. We have many toys for cats and dogs so they will always have something to entertain them.

“Tammy and her husband did a great job of taking care of our pets, even during an ice storm. She also reached out to us during a power outage with questions. Would be happy to have her come by if/when we go away again.”

“We have a 2.5 year old Husky-Australian Cattle Dog mix with more energy than she knows what to do with. While she is a smart, gentle, happy, and kind pup, she definitely has a hard time on walks… she goes into sled pulling mode. We’ve struggled with it for about a year and a half and kid you not - in 2 sessions with Erich, she suddenly knew how to stick by our side. He was patient with our dog and he taught us the skills and tactics to keep her by our side on walks so that she listens and obeys us, even when Erich isn’t there. We’re very grateful for Erich’s help and have talked about how we think he might be a dog whisperer!! Highly recommend working with Erich!”

“Regan would be the ideal person to have as a dog sitter. She is experienced, loving, and responsible. From the time I’ve known her, she has worked for an animal hospital and only stopped working there because she had to move cross states. She would give any animal in her care the love and attention they deserve. I don’t know anyone else who has proven that they care so much about animals. Regan would be a wonderful dog sitter!”
