“This was our first time using the Rover service and Mark did not disappoint us. In the past we have used a great local kennel but due to concerns about the horrible canine virus circulating in several states last year we decided to try something different this trip. We paid a little more than we normally would have, but our dogs were less stressed due to the calmer environment (no other dogs, did not have to be crated at night) and the loving attention provided by Mark. Mark was great at sending daily updates and pics via messaging throughout the stay so that we could see how our pups were doing. I’m sure Mark stays pretty booked due to his loving care but we would definitely consider using his service again for futures needs, assuming he is available.”

About: I boarded and walked dogs in Los Angeles for three years, so I'm comfortable with most breeds and temperaments. My secret weapon? Bone broth ice cubes—they're a constant hit! My sister-in-law is a professional dog trainer, and I've learned a ton from her. I'm happy to reinforce your pup's existing training so routines stay consistent. Plus, with two high-energy, playful dogs of my own, your pup will have built-in best friends and a fenced yard to zoom around in all day. As long as your pup is dog friendly this will be a paradise. Ready to book a meet-and-greet? Send me a message—I'd love to meet your pup and show you the yard! 🐾 I work from home, so I'm around all day for potty breaks, belly rubs, and playtime. Breakfast is served around 9 AM, dinner at 5 PM—routine keeps pups happy! Depending on the weather, we'll either hit the trails for a morning hike or skip straight to zoomies in our fenced yard. Afternoon? More yard time, tug-of-war, or just napping at my feet while I work. Evenings are for winding down with cuddles. Safety is my top priority. Our yard is completely fenced six foot high with no gaps. The dogs will stay outside unless it’s cold or rainy. Inside, I keep a clean (tho covered in fur), dog-friendly space with water always available and hazardous items well out of reach. There are two cats inside so I do need to know if your dog is or isn’t cat friendly. I know dog body language from my years of boarding, so I can spot stress or overstimulation before it becomes an issue. If any pup needs a break, I have quiet spaces set up for alone time. I also require updated vaccines and am comfortable giving oral medications if needed. With two friendly resident dogs, I carefully manage introductions and group play to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve owned three dogs throughout my life. Being able to care for your pets bring me so much joy! Family and friends always have me look after their pets when they go on vacation! I go on a daily walk so watching pets fits perfectly into this schedule. “I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! About: From birth I have been surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, chickens, goats, and many creatures in between. My dad trained dogs and horses (no such thing as cat training…. If you know, you know) and taught me all he knows. I have fostered and trained puppies and currently have 2 cats of my own who are great with dogs. I am a travel nurse and don’t think the long shifts would be fair to have a dog of my own, otherwise I would! I had to remove all of my bengal’s teeth after an emergency and had to fight a newly adopted bengal to give him his antibiotics and pain meds in forms of pills and drops. I have lived through many animals’s passing from old age so am well versed in senior cares as well. Through my career and life experiences no emergency is too big for me. Your pets activity level will become mine- young or old hearted I am here to hang! I got cats so I could go away for weekends and still hire folks on Rover to come give them love on trips they can’t come cause I feel too bad otherwise. Pets are our babies and alike to humans all have their own personalities. I am super excited to get to know yours and thank you for trusting me with your family members :) I work 12 hour night shifts from 7pm-7am 3 days a week, but my partner works from home so there is always someone to give them love. Off days are spent in the mountains on trails or relaxing around the house. I have a large backyard and 2 cats who are missing a dog to play with or rooms they can safely relax in if your furry friend is not other-pet friendly. I come home to go on a walk and wake up in time to drink some coffee and enjoy some hours before work. I have a high fenced yard. I like to keep the routine the same as their normal, so will rely on your directions on when to feed, exercise, and wind down if there are any specifics. Multiple walks a day during the cooler hours is my favorite way to exercise, and if your pup is social enjoy a good social outing to the local dog park. I like to fish up in the mountains so picnics and splashes in some mountain water is always a dog approved activity in my experience

For me, Rover isn’t just a way to earn extra income—it’s a way to contribute, connect with animals, and do something I genuinely love while being there for my family. 🐾❤️ Whether your pet stays in my home or I care for them in the comfort of their own home, my goal is always to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for. When pets stay in my home, they become part of our family while they’re here. I have two friendly dogs and two friendly cats who are comfortable around other pets. I do not have a fenced-in yard, so outdoor time is always supervised and handled safely with leashes. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and plenty of love and attention.

“We were very reluctant to leave our newish rescue pup while we went out of town until we heard about Rover from a family member. We decided to check it out and did a lot of research before finding Peter and Mia. We met him for a courtesy meet & greet and things went way better than we expected! We left our pup knowing she would be in great hands and we were right! Peter and Mia are very knowledgeable and took such great care of our Cha Cha. She loves hiking so they took her on nature adventures everyday and Mia helped her adjust to her new scenery, quickly. Peter sent us the most gorgeous pictures of our Cha Cha and it helped ease our nerves about leaving our precious girl for 5 days. We literally can’t thank Peter and Mia enough for giving our pup such a great experience!
