About: I’m new to Rover, but I grew up with a family dog and chickens and I’ve always loved animals. I can’t wait to get my own pets one day, but for now I love spending time with my friends’ pets and would love to walk, play with, or watch yours! I work from home several days a week, so I am able to walk or check in on dogs during the morning, afternoon, or evening those days and on weekend. About: I would love to take care of dogs during my retirement life. I love to take dogs on walks and exercise with them, and cook well for them like how I do for my own dog. I have almost 40 years of experience caring for small, and medium dogs. I had three Shih-tzus, one Labrador, and one golden retriever mix before, and now I have a lovely 8 year old rat terrier mix. All my previous dogs lived a long and happy life with my family and I, and my current dog, Charlie, is living a happy and bouncy life with me every day. Dog sitting or walking is so important since they are loved by their family. With times away from the family, they’re usually stressed and I want to be the one the dog sees and feels relaxed with at home. My home is always open to dogs, and I am also able to travel to take dogs on walks. There is a lot I am able to and willing to do for your pets, I’ll treat them as if they’re my own. I look forward to providing fun walks and enjoyable home visits for your lovely pets! They deserve the best. I am currently retired. I love to stay home unless I am out with friends. So, love to hang out with dogs, exercise with them, and go on leisurely walks. I feed my pet every night and cook for him. I can accommodate any special diet your dog may need. I treat all dogs as my family. I have a fully fenced backyard with a grass patch, and I let them run free in my home. I will let them run free with supervision in the backyard at least twice a day. About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a kid. I lived on a farm growing up and had tons of all different kinds of animals to look after. I started house/pet sitting for my parents friends in high school and have still kept up with it to this day. Bernadette has exceeded my expectations duing her drop-in visits with my dog Penny. I have a long commute and needed someone to come let her out to go potty and spend time together during the day. Ashley was great! She is very reliable and communicative. She showed up to feed my kitty like clockwork, twice a day. Whenever there was something to communicate she did, right away. My front gate was jammed one morning and she contacted me with suggestions about entering through the back. She was very respectful of my apartment and kept things neat. When I got back she offered to bring back my key without me asking for it, and came very quickly. The entire process was effortless. She is great. I highly recommend her!
Jessica was very communicative and let us know about any issues such as the automatic cat feeder was unplugged. She also sent us pictures and videos and it was obvious that our kitties felt comfortable around her. She seems quite experienced and we definitely will try to book Jessica again in the future!

Melody and Vicky came to our home so we could introduced our dog to them. Our dog usually takes days to trust new people. However, Bentley almost immediately warmed up to them both. 🤯 While we were traveling we received several pictures. We especially love the one of Bentley sleeping in their laps.
