About: Dogs have been part of my family for as long as I can remember — they’re truly woven into the fabric of my life. After 15 years as a large animal and livestock farmer, I’ve handled every kind of surprise animals can throw at me — so I’m up for unusual circumstances. Your pup will have 10 fully fenced acres to explore, sniff, and zoom to their heart’s content. And they won’t be alone! I have four animal-loving kids who can’t wait to run, play, and snuggle with new furry friends. I work from home, and my kids are homeschooled so we are home most of the time, so we are available for potty breaks and snuggles throughout the day. During the school year we attend a homeschool co-op for much of the day Tuesday and Thursday. We have 10 fully fenced acres for safe, joyful exploring, plus two friendly dogs and four dog-savvy cats to keep your pup company. Crating is available if needed (especially for new potty trainers), but we love welcoming guest dogs right into our daily routine. About: Hello! My name is Kate and I want to meet your pet! I have a seven year old Australian Shepherd who might be the love of my life (don't tell my husband!) I have grown up around dogs but have also taken care of cats and guinea pigs. In all seriousness, I live in the Goochland/Short Pump area and offer pet walking during the day. I'm a super active person who works from home and has the time to commit to make sure your pet is well taken care of! My first dog (a Westie) lived to be almost 17 and by the end of his life, needed a variety of medicines throughout the day and so that is another service that I can offer. I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I work from home starting late morning and also typically go to the park everyday after work (depending on the weather). I am available before work, during lunch, and after work. I make sure that your pet has plenty of water and play time before I leave the visit! I always make sure your pet is comfortable and we can play as much as they want!

I currently work at a vet hospital part time on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday times ranging from 7am-3pm, I often don’t get scheduled all days as well as all of the mentioned time every week so please still reach out!
