“Kelly did an awesome job on her drop in visit with my dog Bowser! She sent updates during her visit and let us know Bowser was in good hands. We will definitely be contacting Kelly next time we need someone to watch our pup. Thanks again Kelly!”

About: Hi we are Don and Bobbi! We both have grown up around dogs our entire lives and have always been passionate about caring for animals. Between our families, we’ve had many dogs and cats over the years, giving us experience with pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities. Today, we have two dogs and a cat of our own and understand the importance of providing pets with love, attention, exercise, and a safe environment. We’ve also pet sat for friends and family and have enjoyed getting to know and care for their pets as if they were our own. We decided to join Rover because we love spending time with animals and thought it would be a fun way to help other pet owners feel confident that their pets are receiving excellent care while they’re away. We understand our profile is new with no reviews but we promise to provide exceptional care and hope to show that through reviews as we get settled on this app! Bobbi works from home Monday-Friday and Don works from home Monday and Friday. Someone will always be home to care for your animals! Our flexible schedules allow pet care to be a priority. We have a massive yard for the dogs to run around and are constantly going on leashed walks near our house. Our house is their house and we are happy to play with your pup as much as they need!
“My wife has always had someone to watch her dog, but we recently built a house and she moved to Goochland County. It was our first time using the Rover service and Riley was great. She sent notes and pictures to keep us updated on each stay. She was great and will be using her services again!”

“Tiffany has been nothing but amazing with my baby KANE!!! As a Nurse I have long shifts on the weekends and with Kane being a new member of my family I was super nervous about drop ins and strangers but Tiffany has eased all of the anxiety I had. I lost my mom in December and Kane was a gift from my son to keep me occupied so I won’t be so lonley and sad, I appreciate Tiffany for always being available for Kane just like I was always available for my mom. Thanks TIFFANY💜💜💜💜💜💜”

I can assure you that your furry friends will be in the best hands! I am currently looking for full time work and in the mean time available for every day activities with your furry friends! About: I'm a life-long dog lover that will provide great care to your dog! I live in a great pet-friendly neighborhood, with a dog park nearby. My family has always had dogs, growing up - so I'm very comfortable around them. If I'm house sitting, know that your dog and I will be taking several walks to get some exercise and having many playing sessions! Also, I don't think I've met one dog that didn't like me :). Hope to hear from you soon and I look forward to meeting your dog!
“Jenna was a life saver. We have two sweet 14 year old Australian shepherds who are a little wobbly and don’t see as well as they used to. I was afraid to leave them but Jenna was amazing!! Got tons of pics and updates. It was such a relief. Jenna is a true dog lover and really took care of our guys like they were her own. She spent tons of time with them. I’ll definitely use her again and pass her info along to friends.”

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! I’ve grown up around dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and even volunteered at an SPCA when I was younger. I’ve been caring for my own dogs since 2015, including my senior pup, Kobe, whom I’ve raised since the day he was born! He was one of my first dog’s puppies, so I’ve had the special experience of caring for a dog through every stage of life, from newborn puppy to senior companion. Today, I’m the proud parent of two dogs, Kobe and Walter. They’ve taught me that every dog has their own personality, routines, and needs. Whether your pup is energetic and playful or older and prefers a slower pace, I’m happy to adjust my care to what makes them most comfortable. I understand that pets are family, and I’ll treat yours with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. 🐾❤️ As a dog mom of two, pet care is already part of my everyday routine! 🐾 I currently work Tuesday through Friday, but I’m fully available on weekends and Mondays! I’m also available for evening walks and drop-in visits after 4:30 PM Tuesday through Friday. I offer overnight boarding in my home, as well as flexible scheduling for walks and drop-in visits. For boarding, there are two adults in our household who help ensure your pup is fed, walked, cared for, and given plenty of love and attention throughout their stay! For the safety and comfort of all our furry friends, I require a meet-and-greet before accepting any boarding reservations. This gives your pup a chance to meet my two dogs, helps us make sure everyone gets along, and allows us to discuss your pet’s routine, personality, and any special care needs. I’m always happy to discuss your pet’s individual needs and find a schedule that works for everyone. Your pup’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my priorities! Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities! I share my home with two dogs, Kobe and Walter, and understand the importance of proper introductions, respecting boundaries, and giving each dog their own space. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to seniors, and always strive to make each pup feel right at home. When I’m away, dogs are safely crated separately to prevent unsupervised interactions. I’ll follow your pet’s feeding, exercise, and care routines as closely as possible, and provide regular photos and updates so you can feel confident knowing your furry family member is in loving hands!
“Michelle was diligent and caring while we were out of town for the weekend. We were able to travel with peace of mind due to her level of care. Will be rebooking!”

“This was our first Rover experience and Virginia was a perfectly wonderful pet sitter for our cat, Fergus. She came by to meet him ahead of time, sent lots of photos and videos while we were away and, above all, made us feel very comfortable leaving him in her pet-loving hands. We would recommend Virginia highly and hope to find the opportunity to have her help again soon!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life. I currently have two golden retrievers that are full of energy. I love how sincere and awesome each breed is. I will love them as my own! I am flexible with my schedule and I will help as much as possible. I am an ER nurse and I have experience with medication if medication administration is needed for your pet. I'm excited to get to know you and your pet! My schedule can be changed week to week if needed. I currently do not have a fenced in yard but there are several walking trails nearby. I am willing to travel to accommodate pets and families!

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
