Pet Sitting in Goochland

About: Over the past couple of years, I’ve had the joy of caring for family and friends dogs when needed, giving their dogs a loving home away from home. I work from home so I have flexibility of time and a lot of love to give to your furry friend! Available for boarding any day of the week. My fenced-in back yard offers a safe environment for fresh air, fun, and exercise. Dogs allowed on furniture. I have a two year old lab who loves other dogs! I can also crate if needed.

About: Hello! My name is Kate and I want to meet your pet! I have a seven year old Australian Shepherd who might be the love of my life (don't tell my husband!) I have grown up around dogs but have also taken care of cats and guinea pigs. In all seriousness, I live in the Goochland/Short Pump area and offer pet walking during the day. I'm a super active person who works from home and has the time to commit to make sure your pet is well taken care of! My first dog (a Westie) lived to be almost 17 and by the end of his life, needed a variety of medicines throughout the day and so that is another service that I can offer. I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I work from home starting late morning and also typically go to the park everyday after work (depending on the weather). I am available before work, during lunch, and after work. I make sure that your pet has plenty of water and play time before I leave the visit! I always make sure your pet is comfortable and we can play as much as they want!

About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was a child. I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, and fish. Pets have such a special place in my heart and I believe they should be treated like family. I am an elementary school counselor who is looking to pet sit this summer while school is out. About: I have had dogs since childhood! “Puppy” love can change any attitude! A little TLC for your fur babies is what I can provide for you. I work remotely so pretty flexible on time. Feeding, walking, playing all in a days work. I find that a little animal break in my day make me more productive. Our 3 large dogs use doggy door but the little ones have to be let out. We walk our dogs every morning and throw balls ever afternoon.

About: Hello all! My name is Alex and I am currently a stay at home mom here in Powhatan VA. Ever since I can remember I have been an animal lover. I have never not owned an animal, and currently have two dogs, two cats and a turtle of my own! I also have volunteered 200 hours at the PSPCA in Newport News, where I gained a lot of experience in the care of different types of dogs and cats. My husband and I live in a house with almost an acre fenced in, so your pup will always have a place to run around when staying with us!! Communication is key! I will be sure to keep you updated about your pup throughout each visit, as well as send pictures periodically. I look forward to watching after your pet! I'm currently a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of free time! With my flexible schedule, I can almost always meet my clients scheduling needs! Large fenced in back yard with a dog door that allows them to go in and out as they please. We always walk the fence before a stay to make sure there are no holes your fur baby could escape from! I am available to keep your fur baby overnight at our house. I am unable to stay at the clients house due to being a mom to two beautiful little girls!

I worked for the company Dogtopia (a great dog daycare/boarding facility) as a canine coach and assistant manager. I worked hands on in the room with the dogs during open play, and one on one in grooming and training sessions. Unfortunately, my husband travels for work so a traditional 9-5 doesn’t always work for me, hence finding my own lane with Rover! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend. :) I work from home remotely part time as a paralegal, and outside of that I am a stay at home wife. Pet care fits seamlessly into my life and I am open to working with clients to help accommodate special time needs. About: I’ve been passionate about animals since I was child, caring for our family and neighbors pets, rescuing wounded critters, volunteering at the local SPCA, and playing with all furry (or not), creatures! I am very active and can walk for miles! I am responsible, dependable, and will provide exceptional service! I work part time with a flexible schedule. She is extremely punctual and did an incredible job with medication administration and keeping her litter box clean. Not to mention, our power went out and our generator was malfunctioning. Emily called me and stayed on the phone figuring out how to get power back to my house outside in the freezing cold. She was willing to come early or late to accommodate our schedule. I felt great relief knowing she was around to care for my cat while I was away. Definitely recommend!!”

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have had hands on experience with small, medium, and large dogs as well as puppies to seniors. I’ve been around dogs that are very calm and dogs that “don’t usually like people” and have been able to have them warm up to me. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering oral medication, and providing exercise and play. I currently have a lot of free time which allows me to be more flexible in caring for your pets and making sure they receive consistent attention, walks, feeding, and playtime. The dogs have the same privilege as us in our home. So, all dogs are allowed on the furniture! There are no places in our home that we restrict from the animals; we feel that is very unfair.
