A typical day
I live in the Goochland/Short Pump area and we love going for walks on the trails nearby. A personal favorite game of mine to play with dogs when we are at home is hide and seek!

Hello! My name is Kate and I want to meet your pet! I have a seven year old Australian Shepherd who might be the love of my life (don't tell my husband!) I have grown up around dogs but have also taken care of cats and guinea pigs. In all seriousness, I live in the Goochland/Short Pump area and offer pet walking during the day. I'm a super active person who works from home and has the time to commit to make sure your pet is well taken care of! My first dog (a Westie) lived to be almost 17 and by the end of his life, needed a variety of medicines throughout the day and so that is another service that I can offer. I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon!

Katherine is such a sweet person. She took our older dog Tiller for walks 3 times a week for 4 months, then we added a new puppy to our family and Katherine started to taking care of both of them. She is very nice to them. We were so happy we’ve found her. We could deeply trust our dogs under her care and know our house was safe with her as well. We are all so sad she is moving, but we wish her all the best, hopefully we will se her again on the future.
Katharine has watched our dog for 2 years now when we go out of town and my only issue is that our pup doesn't want to leave her when we get home! She is absolutely wonderful with Bailey and sends updates without us even having to ask. I can't recommend her highly enough!
My dog Henry is a rather difficult and does not do well when I am away from him (separation anxiety). But he was able to accept and do very well with Katherine. She was patient and kind with Henry when he was anxious to leave us. I was nervous to leave him alone, but she had a energy around her that was trusting and Henry did exceptionally well with her. I highly recommend Katherine!! Henry was well taken care of and she was on-time, and overall a very pleasant person to hire. If you are looking for someone to take care of your dog, she is wonderful and your dog will be in very good hands!
