Natasha looked after our partially deff and blind senior citizen pug and our ball obsessed boarder collie in their own home. The dogs were always around someone who could play and love on them.”
About: I’m a dedicated dog lover offering a safe, comfortable home for your pup while you’re away. I have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who love having visitors and help create a fun, relaxed environment. My home also has a fully fenced backyard, so your dog can safely run, play, and get plenty of fresh air! Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, they’ll have a cozy, supervised stay here. I work from 7 AM to 3 PM, and my boyfriend has a later schedule, so there is usually someone home during the day. In the mornings, I make sure all dogs are fed, let out, and get some attention before I leave. During the day, they’re let out and supervised, and once I’m home, they get plenty of playtime, walks, and attention. Your dog won’t be left alone for long and will get consistent care throughout the day. I do my best to make every dog feel at home here. I keep a comfortable routine with regular meals, potty breaks, and lots of love and attention throughout the day. “I can't say enough great things about both of my pups experience w/ Paula. I was so nervous leaving my Jack w/ anyone, as he is quite the bundle of energy. My older sweet girl (Shephard mix) can be timid and nervous, especially around other dogs. They both took to Paula instantly and came home safe, smiling, and exhausted from all the exercise they had between Paula's backyard setup and their pack of playmates. Paula is a great communicator, and sent plenty of pictures and updates so that I never had to worry about how they were doing. This stay allowed me to travel to my daughter on very short notice, and I will be reaching out to Paula first for any travel or boarding needs in the future.”

About: Hi there! I have years of pet sitting experience along with taking care of my own animals throughout my life. I have the most experience with dogs, cats, and birds (though I’m no stranger to farm animals). I love being outdoors and staying active, so I’m always happy to go on walks, play outside, and keep pets engaged and comfortable. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and I always do my best to ensure that they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I work Monday-Thursday 7-5 which means that I am available before and after work and have open days Friday-Sunday. In some cases I’m able to be available during lunch time depending on the proximity of the pet to my workplace. I have a fenced in backyard and live right next to a track for plenty of running/walking time for your pet. I try to stick to the routine of the pet that I’m taking care of so that they aren’t experiencing too much change while their owner is away!

Scooter had daily walks, and loving care that allowed him to do his favorite thing - being lazy on the couch, he found his spot on Cassandre couch and she gave him the love that we could not. About: Your fur baby will have a blast with our pack! Winnie, Tater and Goose are the ultimate pals. We will be sure to keep your pup entertained and a great way to get exercise and affection while you’re away! If you have an older dog, I can offer one on one snuggle time and a calm relaxing environment separate from the other pups. We have 2 acres and enjoy outside playtime. We frequent the dog park in Louisa and hiking trails from Richmond to Charlottesville. Common treats are homemade chicken jerky and sardines. Please let me know if your pup is not on a tick preventative. We treat our yard with a dog safe spray but enjoy recreational activities away from home and would like to be extra cautious for your fur baby. I have full weekday and have full weekend availability! We enjoy going on walks in our neighborhood or the park close by early in the morning and late at night before it gets too hot. Depending on your pup’s age, younger ones will have tater and goose to play with. Older/calmer pups will stay with Winnie and I in a separated part of the house. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. Although I do not currently have a pet of my own because I am a student, I grew up with dogs my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and needs. What sets me apart from other sitters is both my experience and the amount of time I have dedicated to animal care and volunteering. I began volunteering at animal shelters over six years ago, and I have completed a 10-hour training program to become a certified volunteer at my college town’s humane society. About: Hi! My husband and I have both had dogs since we were young kids. We currently have a senior dog (female) and a puppy (male 11months). Both are Australian shepherds. We also have two kids (6 and 8). We have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages and needs. :) We have a fenced in yard and our puppy would love someone to play with during the day. I am home with my kids pretty much all summer, so I’m available most of the day. Dogs will need to be good with other dogs and young children as well as spayed/neutered. I have taken care of my parents dogs when they are out of town and have stayed at many client’s homes the past several years to care for their dogs while they are on vacation. I would feed them twice a day and give potty breaks before and after work. Now I am a stay at home mom with my newborn daughter, so my schedule is flexible for walks, potty breaks, etc. I love spending time with dogs, whether it's outside playing or cuddling in the house. I have given my dogs medication to swallow when prescribed by their veterinarian as well as cleaning out their ears every 2-3 times a week for normal hygiene.
