About: I am currently home full-time while homeschooling my youngest child who is now in his teens. We ADORE all animals! Our schedule is extremely flexible, which allows us to work with whatever schedule needs you have. I have a huge heart and could not live without animals in my life. I am very active and look forward to the opportunity to walk, play and love on your pets! For the past 40+ years I have owned, fostered and cared for dogs, cats, bunnies, turtles, horses and more. I recently lost my Great Dane after a decade of getting to love him. He had DCM since he was a puppy so I have extensive knowledge of caring for that, giant breed needs and know how to track and administer many medications. Being a stay at home mom I've often thought about walking and caring for other animals while they're humans are away at work or vacay! About: I have 8+ years dog-sitting experience with dogs of many different sizes and temperaments. Personally I have a 85 pound German Shepherd mix, Turbo, a 40 pound labradoodle, Maple, and an 80 pound Rottie/GSD mix named Tater. I thoroughly enjoy playing with them everyday and have learned many training techniques from raising them. I have a great deal of experience caring for a highly allergic and anxious dog. I understand the helplessness that can often come with trying to find a treatment that works. If your dog has allergies/skin issues, or any other special needs, I'm more than happy to help. Rest assured your dog will be given the love and attention they need to feel comfortable in my home. We do have 1 cat (named Sesame) who would prefer to be left alone. If your dog is very reactive around cats this will not be a good fit. I am a stay- at- home mom and my husband works from home, so we can offer a great amount of flexibility with drop-off and pick-up times. Your dog will be supervised 24/7 when in my care. I have a large (2.3 acre), fully-fenced backyard for optimal play! I have three friendly dogs who would love to show your dog all the best sniff spots. We also love going on walks, playing fetch, taking naps, and playing "find it." I've taken a dog CPR class to better understand the warning signs of a dog in distress, and what actions to take in an emergency. Being a pet parent myself, I greatly understand the peace of mind that comes from knowing your dog is safe and happy. Therefore, I will always send you multiple updates, with photos, every day throughout your dogs stay. Please let me know if you have any questions! I'd love to schedule a meet and greet.
