About: Hello! My name is Fidencio, (my family calls me John, and you can too). I am 32 years old and have a long history of caring for dogs in my family. In 2005, my Father rescued a puppy from war torn Iraq. He fell in love with Target, our Iraqi dog, while he was deployed there. I remember my dad calling my mom, begging her to please find a way to get Target home, to California, over 7000 miles away. We went to work as a family finding any possible way to get our small puppy back home. Long story short, because we love animals, we got Target shipped to LAX. Target was what we considered an animal refugee. I remember going on the drive to LAX as a 5th grader to go pick up Target, when I first saw him he was scared, being shipped across the globe and being separated from his owner on the journey. But as soon as we got in the car we broke the crate open, we instantly all fell in love. Dedication to protecting a caring for animals is something that runs deep for me. And opening up our home to do that for others is an honor. I’ve attached some photos of Target, our 1st family dog. Looking at these older photos is such a trip! Blast from the past if you will. My Dad is now retired from the USMC and has a service dog jack, who is pictured above. He loves to play with other dogs and is very friendly. Hope you meet you and your pet soon! I am home full time and will always be there for you and your pet! Can be contacted 24/7 and checkup anytime. I’m just a call away. I care for other pets the same I would care for my own. With love, patience, and care. These things come naturally as an animal lover!
“We love taking our dog Belle to Robert’s. She always has a great time there and we love the photo and video updates! 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a dog sitter in the Temecula area!”

About: Your pet will be treated like my own ! I have 10+ years of experience caring for pets and have a genuine love for all animals. In addition to dogs and cats I have also cared for small mammals, reptiles, birds and fish. I recently lost my beloved dog after 18 years so look forward to the opportunity to care for your pet with the same love and care I gave my own. I know it can be stressful to trust someone else to care for your animals and to come into to your home, so I want to make you feel as comfortable as possible by understanding yours and your pet's needs. I also will always send consistent updates to my clients as well as pictures of their pets. My schedule is very flexible and I am able to accommodate most times and days needed. I do not have a set schedule aside from sometimes picking up my son from school so I can easily meet the needs of your pet. I believe in treating a client's home with the utmost respect and care. You will always come home to a clean house and happy pets. I am more than happy to water plants, assist with any home care needs, organization, etc.
“We’ve been bringing Marley to May for two weeks now, and we couldn’t be happier! As pawrents, it’s never easy trusting someone else with your fur baby, but May has been exceptional. It’s clear that Marley is well taken care of, and that means everything to us. Knowing Marley is in good hands while we’re at work gives us so much peace of mind. She truly cares for Marley the same way we do, and that’s rare to find. Thank you, May. We’re grateful.”

“Melissa was a life saver in a pinch and was able to sit Roscoe on short notice. She was professional and a clear communicator. She has experience and clear practices for keeping dogs safe and cared for in her home.”

“Robert provided a safe clean home for our dog to stay for a day and treated him with proper care. We would receive text updates and videos throughout the day of our pet’s progress which gave us peace of mind so we could enjoy our time away. Robert gets a “5 paw” for service!”

“Erin was great with our boy for daycare! He came back tired which means he had lots of fun! She was very careful knowing he has a lot of food allergies and made sure he wasn’t exposed to those foods!”

I train my dogs (obedience and tricks) although I have never had formal training. I bathe and groom my dogs (and my cat) regularly. I do baths, cuts, trims, nails and basic ear cleaning. You're pet will receive cuddles, petting, talking to! Yes, I talk to dogs! I give lots of outside potty breaks and play time! Your dogs will be in great care and have fun! My husband and I are retired and home most days of the year!We have 2 dogs and an indoor cat who mostly lives in a bedroom! Since we are usually home, we can usually do pet sitting at short notice! Recently, we hosted a pet with a 3 hour notice! We have a very large, fenced backyard that is secure for even the smallest dogs! Dogs will play there and also inside our home where most cuddles take place! We do allow dogs on the furniture, and we do have dog beds for them to relax on. Small dogs are definitely held and loved on my lap! We take our dogs out every hour or so for potty and water breaks unless they are napping or we see that they need to go out! I have cared for a blind dog before and am capable of caring for your vision impaired angel. I have experience in caring for senior dogs as well. Both of our dogs are spayed/neutered.
“Thank you Malissa for taking care of our 5 month old puppy! I can tell that Daisy had a good time with you. She seemed so comfortable and happy around you when we picked her up! We’ll definitely be back!”

“Morgan and Jack came through in a pinch with just a few minutes notice. I am beyond happy with their service. Lex loves going and Lex hardly barks, but when he sees this family he is so excited he can't stop barking/talking and wagging his tail. I love that I found this family. Lex loves this family.”

“This was our first time with Savannah and my big dog had a wonderful time and was so tired when he got home! My dog loved playing with her other dogs. Even with all the dogs on Thanksgiving Savannah was calm and very sweet. We will definitely be back!!”

As of August 2026, there are 1,162 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Butterfield Lake Estates. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Butterfield Lake Estates commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,162 sitters in Butterfield Lake Estates, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
