About: Hello! My name is Fidencio, (my family calls me John, and you can too). I am 32 years old and have a long history of caring for dogs in my family. In 2005, my Father rescued a puppy from war torn Iraq. He fell in love with Target, our Iraqi dog, while he was deployed there. I remember my dad calling my mom, begging her to please find a way to get Target home, to California, over 7000 miles away. We went to work as a family finding any possible way to get our small puppy back home. Long story short, because we love animals, we got Target shipped to LAX. Target was what we considered an animal refugee. I remember going on the drive to LAX as a 5th grader to go pick up Target, when I first saw him he was scared, being shipped across the globe and being separated from his owner on the journey. But as soon as we got in the car we broke the crate open, we instantly all fell in love. Dedication to protecting a caring for animals is something that runs deep for me. And opening up our home to do that for others is an honor. I’ve attached some photos of Target, our 1st family dog. Looking at these older photos is such a trip! Blast from the past if you will. My Dad is now retired from the USMC and has a service dog jack, who is pictured above. He loves to play with other dogs and is very friendly. Hope you meet you and your pet soon! Growing up we had two black labs (big big dogs) and I would do everything with them and just took a lot of pride In making sure they were always taken care of emotionally and physically. Since getting older I have loved taking on rolls of helping family friends with watching or walking their dogs and giving them the same treatment I would give to my own. I grew up caring for pets of all kinds, and for the past 8 years I’ve had the privilege of providing professional pet care for families who trust me with their beloved companions. My experience includes dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, rabbits, ferrets, farm animals, aquatic pets, and many other exotic species. I’ve also cared for senior pets, puppies and kittens, pets with special needs, and animals that require extra patience, medication, or individualized attention. My schedule is pretty open because caring for pets is what I genuinely enjoy doing. I tend to have a little more flexibility than the average person, so I’m usually able to work around different routines whether that means an early-morning drop-in, a spontaneous trip, a last-minute change of plans, or a cozy little sleepover. I like having the time to actually be there with the pets I care for. Not just stopping by, checking a box, and rushing off. I enjoy the little things getting to know their personalities, following their routines, giving them attention, and letting them feel like they have a little vacation of their own while their humans are away. So if your fur baby needs someone with a flexible schedule, a calm presence, and plenty of time for cuddles, playtime, or simply keeping them company… you may have found your person. I’ve always felt like animals have their own little language, and I genuinely enjoy learning their way of communicating. When a pet comes into my care, I like to meet them where they are. Some babies need structure and routine, some need a little extra patience, and others simply want someone to sit beside them while they decide you’re their new best friend. I follow the routines and care instructions their humans have created for them whether that means crate time, potty training, medication routines, playtime, socializing, quiet time, or plenty of cuddles. Their comfort and safety always come first. I’m also someone who naturally spends a lot of time outdoors, so I love having little adventures with my animal companions walks, fresh air, exploring, sunbathing, or just sitting outside together and watching the world go by. And my definition of a “pet” has never been limited to cats and dogs. I’ve cared for animals of all different personalities, sizes, ages, and species, including exotic pets. I find their little quirks fascinating and enjoy giving each animal the kind of care that makes sense for them. If your baby happens to enjoy a bubble bath, treats, an afternoon adventure, or an unreasonable amount of affection… well, they may have just found their favorite babysitter. I’ve jokingly been called the female version of Dr. Dolittle. I’ll take it. Really, I think animals simply know when someone genuinely enjoys being around them. And I’m very happy to be living in their world. Overnight stays are always welcome, too.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a while, I’m caring and responsible. I’m very patient and love all animals. I have and American Staffordshire senior dog that I am very comfortable administering medication to and tending to all her special needs as she gets older. I also have 2 small yorkies that require a great deal of patience. I love all animals and I take great care of any animal that I am watching. I’m currently working part time from home and I’m available on the weekends as well. My schedule is very flexible and I can work with your schedule. My pets have an enclosed yard where we can play everyday. I can offer playtime at your place or a park. I’m very good and keeping peta safe and protected.
About: I absolutely love dogs. My families dog passed away last year, and while I can’t take on a dog of my own I would love to help care for yours! My family had a chihuahua, but my extended family has had doodles, mixed breeds, beagles, and I have cared for friends larger mixed breeds, boxers, and even little weenie dogs! I am a great resource as I am reliable, I have a flexible schedule as I am an online college student, and access to parking downtown which makes walks around the lake easily accessible! I’d love to get to help care for your pups! As I mentioned above I am an online college student. Most of my courses are asynchronous, allowing me to set my own schedule! I have a barista job as well but with minimal hours on the weekends. With that I can tailor my pet sitting to whatever is needed for each family! I started pet sitting beyond my families pets in high school, and since then have cared for so many of my friends pets. I know how important these pets are to each of them, and I want to do whatever I can to make their dogs happy. Again with having a very flexible schedule I can accommodate for more hands on pets. I love quality time, so I’d be happy to just be there for your pets. I am also really excited anytime I get to be outdoors in the beautiful weather in Austin. I would be happy to prioritize getting pets out into the world and being active myself! Ultimately I have a lot of time and energy to provide exactly the care your pet needs!
About: I offer housesitting with many years of experience with petting and as a Property/Estate manager in Montecito and Santa Barbara now San Diego. I only watch one family of pets at a time. Your pet will be treated as family. We go on hikes, beach days, walks, play outside in the yard and go to parks if these outings are appropriate for your pet. About this sitter: Really love what I do and the animals I care for. I grew up with many animals. My parents bred Doberman Pinchers. I love playing with the dogs, I believe it keeps both myself and the animals I watch happy and healthy to play out doors as much as possible. I also love to cuddle with the animals, they are so sweet. All the animals that come to visit us are treated as part of our family. Why I love dog sitting I grew up on a large property in San Diego with Doberman's, Germain Shepherd/collie mix and my grandfather raised Rottweilers. I just adore dogs and cats. I love to take them to the beach, hiking, and cuddle on the couch.
