About: Hi, I’m Niki! I’ve had over 15 years of experience caring for dogs and grew up in a household with them, so being around pets has always been second nature to me. Friends and family consistently rely on me for dog sitting because they know I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely love animals. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, my love for them has never changed. I’ve had my bunny for about six years now, which has only strengthened my patience, consistency, and commitment to caring for animals every day. I also volunteer doing dog walks and “day out” trips at the Humane Society, which has given me experience working with dogs of different temperaments, energy levels, and comfort needs. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages — from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and support. I prioritize safety, routine, and creating a calm, comfortable environment so each dog feels secure, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I work from home four days a week, which allows me plenty of time to give dogs consistent attention, supervision, and regular walks throughout the day. My flexible schedule makes it easy to maintain feeding routines, potty breaks, playtime, and exercise without feeling rushed. Because I’m home most of the week, I’m able to provide a calm, attentive environment and ensure pets feel comfortable and well cared for. I’m also available for weekend care upon request. For dog walking and drop-in visits, I focus on keeping pets comfortable while maintaining their usual routine. During walks, I ensure dogs get safe, structured exercise tailored to their energy level, along with positive reinforcement and attentiveness to their surroundings. Safety is always my top priority. For drop-ins, I follow feeding schedules closely, refresh water, provide potty breaks, playtime, and enrichment, and give plenty of affection so pets don’t feel stressed or lonely. I also monitor their behavior and overall well-being during each visit. I’m respectful of clients’ homes and always provide updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away.
