I play soccer most days of the week usually during 6-8 but my schedule does change from time to time. About: Hello! My name is Fidencio, (my family calls me John, and you can too). I am 32 years old and have a long history of caring for dogs in my family. In 2005, my Father rescued a puppy from war torn Iraq. He fell in love with Target, our Iraqi dog, while he was deployed there. I remember my dad calling my mom, begging her to please find a way to get Target home, to California, over 7000 miles away. We went to work as a family finding any possible way to get our small puppy back home. Long story short, because we love animals, we got Target shipped to LAX. Target was what we considered an animal refugee. I remember going on the drive to LAX as a 5th grader to go pick up Target, when I first saw him he was scared, being shipped across the globe and being separated from his owner on the journey. But as soon as we got in the car we broke the crate open, we instantly all fell in love. Dedication to protecting a caring for animals is something that runs deep for me. And opening up our home to do that for others is an honor. I’ve attached some photos of Target, our 1st family dog. Looking at these older photos is such a trip! Blast from the past if you will. I'm the type of person that double checks and will pay attention to the small details in your pet's behavior and appearance. And of course, I absolutely love dogs. My favorite thing about them is their ability to break up the seriousness of a moment by being absolutely silly! I've had the chance to meet dogs of all types and temperaments, and am comfortable walking energetic, leash aggressive, or nervous dogs. I understand how important exercise and quality time are in making your pup happy. My resume and references are always available upon request. I’m currently working part-time and will have plenty of time to be at home with your fur baby. My hours are flexible and we can work on setting up a schedule specific to your pets’ needs. I mainly care for pets in your home, using guidelines you provide me with. I’m open to boarding requests but do not currently offer this service on short notice.
